Description

Progress in unreal comfort.

Pull on the responsive and forgiving Burton Women's Mint Boots, cruise the groomers for a warm up, and then dip into the park to kill it on the jumps. The Mint Snowboard Boot's True Fit technology employs a low-profile shape and customized Imprint 1 liner to contour to the unique shape of a woman's foot. This means that your toes live in luxury from first chair to last run. Speed Zone lacing lets you independently tighten or loosen the upper and lower halves of the boot to dial your fit in seconds. The Burton Mint's upper and lower cuffs flex independently and the EVA footbeds provide ridiculous cushioning, so you can ride in comfort without any pressure points. - Fall 2009.

Just picked up a pair of the Mint 2009 boots and was wondering if they stretch out any with wear? They feel a little snug now so I'm not sure if I should wear them a bit to break them in or if I should just return them now for a better fitting boot.

Responded on

They will pack out just a bit. but not much. When you stand in them and bend you knees, you want your toes to be touching the end. If this is the case and it feels sung you are stoked. That is a perfect fit.

Responded on

Thanks for the tip! I tried them with my usual snow socks and they were squeezing my toes before I even stood up. Guess these will have to go back, but at least now I have a better idea on how they should fit. Thx

Good boots for the price

Great boots. Easy to lace, a bit hard to take off. I used them my first time snowboarding. They stayed tight on... maybe too tight because my calves started to hurt, but that may just be because I'm not used to it. I wear a 5.5 normally and bought 5.5.

LOVE 'EM!

I just bought these & I love them! They are very comfortable & I bought them because you don't have to tie them! It always takes me forever to tie my boots, but these are perfect!

sweet boots!

I wore these boots all week in the Tetons, and they were great. At first they were really stiff, but after a while, they wore themselves in. They are of great quality...and I love them!!! I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes and I ordered a 7.5 and the shoe fit great.

I have the Burton Lodi from a few years back. I'm a 7.5 womens normally but I got the 7 and it fits perfectly, a little tight getting my feet in but when riding it's good. Am I to assume that all Burton boots will fit similarily or should I get the 7.5 since I've heard many reviews saying it fits snug/tight?

Responded on

I got a 9 and it fits pretty true to size (i usually wear a womens 9). Not sure how previous boots fit.

what's the difference between the Burton Mint Boot -Item BUR2464 and Burton Mint Boot Item BUR1763? Just the laces?

Responded on

The laces on this are more durable-not only with the pull system but the actual material used is more durable also-Burton changed suppliers in 2009.

I bought these boots in a size 9. When I tried them on my toes just barely touch the front of the boot. Should I go up a size, or will they wear down a little? These were with thin socks as well, not wool socks.

Responded on

Try riding them for a few days, they should pack out some and make some room for your feet.

Changed my ride!

This boot changed my whole ride. It made it smoother to carve and no heel lifting. They seemed to run very true to size. I love them-- they are also very comfortable.

So my running shoe is a size 9, but when I tried on the boots in a store with my wool socks the size 10 seemed like the right fit. Am I way off? Should they be tighter than I think?

Responded on

Usually when I size boots I go smaller. I wouldn't try on your boots with the thickest pair of socks you have, because the boot is going to blow out as it gets worn. When I'm trying on boots, I go with what is comfortably tight with just liners because then I know that when my boot does blow out, socks can help me keep the boot fitting longer. It really all depends on the manufacturer, as I am sure you know no one sizes their shoes the same way. Just make sure that your entire foot has good contact with the boot and that there aren't any uncomfortable pressure points or spaces between your foot and the boot. Ensure there isn't any heel lift and that while you can feel your toes at the end of the boot, you can still wiggle them.

Awesome!

I LOVE my Mont boots! Super cozy, not too stiff and perfect flex. Have been wearing them around the house b/c I ordered them prior to the season starting up. I'd say perfect for intermediate to advanced riders who hit up the park.

I was looking for a women's boot size 10.5, but I have not found anything out there yet. Can somebody point me in the right direction.

Responded on

A lot of the mainstream brands, like Burton, do not make size 10.5 in women's. Try Northwave, Nitro, or Head. Is 10.5 your street shoe size? I recommend going and getting professionally fitted at a ski shop because most people should wear boots that are .5 or 1 size smaller than their street shoe size. Also, brands fit very different from each other, so go try on everything in the store, then go online and buy what you found fit just right. Whatever you do, don't buy men's boots! They will not be comfy because they're the wrong shape and proportions.

For all mountain riding should I be looking for a stiffer boot?

Responded on

Boot flexion is really on a personal preference base. Some people like em soft for all mtn, some like them stiff all mtn. It just comes down to what you like, typically a softer boot is for park and a stiffer more responsive boot is for all mtn riding, but again, personal preference.

I am so confused about boots, i have no idea what i should look for when choosing boots?? (i am size 13)

Responded on

For starters, are you looking for mens or womens? A womens 13 is going to be hard to come by, if at all. You will have to get about a mens 11.5 if that is the case. Next, you can call us or Livechat us and we can help you out with boot selection.
