These bindings are awesome. Comfy, light, and cool colors! I love all the different adjustments you can do to them. Goes best with the channel mounting style.

these bindings will work any any normal board right? just not the ICS boards or other way around?
cheers

No, they will only work with ICS boards. These are the EST versions of the Missions. If you have a 4-hole or 3-hole pattern you would need to get the Disk Missions not the EST Missions.

if you don't have an ics board get the regular burton bindings, if you have a non burton board get unions, they are a lot better than burton, more durable and lighter plus they are not overpriced

EST bindings will *ONLY* work with the ICS boards by Burton. There might be one or two Forum decks that run the channel system that would also work.
not too bad

these are great bindings. feel really conncected to the board since the footbed is thin. straps lock you in nice and tight and with the capstrap makes heel side turns a littel easier compared to normal top of the foot binding straps. dialing in your stance isnt quite as easy without the view glass like on the cartels or other more expensive bindings but it gets the job done.
Top choice.

These bindings are really really good. Everyone has a preference, but these are mine. The EST system rules. Rocking cantbeds in them too, so nice.
Might not think it makes a difference having your foot strapped straight to the board, but it does. Makes your whole foot the control surface rather than a layer of plastic flexing against a disk in the middle. It's the future kids, especially if Burton shares.
I like them a lot for allll types of riding, everything.
P.S. The only real difference between them and the Cartels is marketing. They have the same base, the straps are essentially the same, same ratchets (fast and easy). The high backs flex the same in the real world, and the two shapes feel the same through your boot. In a blind test you would never know the difference. Just my opinion though. Placebo effects are real, so you decide.

Would these Mission EST Bindings work on my Burton Bullet Wide 64

No they will not. They will only work on an ICS board. A Board with the single channel running through the middle of the board

if the bullet has the channel then yes. if it just has the standard drilled holes in the board then no. and im almost positive that the bullet doesnt have the channel, so negative on the binders. try any other burton binding without est.

are these true to size? i have a DC size 7.5 mens US boot. Should I get a small or medium?
Four Horsemen

Get Medium as DC boots run a bit large... Also, if your feet grow your bindings will still be dialed!

Run the mediums.

they are just a tad flimsy, but they are comfertable as heck tho
if your looking for more of all mountain binding get these, if your park rider go with a different binding

If you like a softer flexing EST binding you will be in heaven.
I love tons of board feel and have kidnapped this tray as right now its the softest flexing one.
I get the best board flex and feel you could imagine!!!

This bindings looks awesome on your board, but is a bit weak. I can't tell if this happens a lot, but the buckle on the lower strap got loose and fell off of the tip. Had to return it right away, and I don't think I would get these ever again. The way the buckle is connected to the strap just looks weak and it could snap anytime while riding.
Plus, since it's the cheapest EST, it doesn't come with the stance angle meter, just a cheap angle indication around the rubber of the base. Just check out the pics on burton.com and you'll see what i mean. Lame.
Spend a few extra bucks on the cartel est, or just get regular bindings.

Write your question here...hey bought the new est burton mission bindings, dey dont have a little plastic viewing window with the degrees on it though like smoe est bindings do, they only have a hole to see the measurments on the board, how do you set the binding to the exact angle i want or will i have to purchase different base plates with a viewing window

Will this binding work with other boards without the burton channel system? Say like a never summer board.
Four Horsemen
Member since
No it will not... If you want a similar feel to the channel on a non-est board your best bet is Forum's Shaka binding. Its not EST, but it rides pretty amazing with that hinged disk!

I bought a pair of Missions season before last and they lasted about 15 days before I had to replace some hardware. They're versatile, which is a plus as well as comfy. I like the adjustible gas pedal, the cap straps and the ability to dial in the high backs specifically to my needs. The one thing that I don't like is that the top straps don't really slide into the rachets that easily. It seems like getting them lined up just right is a little difficult.
