The Mission EST Binding delivers no-nonsense freestyle performance that perfectly complements your Burton Channel snowboard. With unlimited stance options, improved board feel, and bonus cushioning, you'll wonder how you got by with traditional baseplate bindings. The minimalist design eliminates excess weight without sacrificing strength.
EST technology works exclusively with Burton's Channel mounting system to improve natural board flex
Tool-free adjustable Canted Living Hinge highback mirrors your natural leg position for better heelside response
Removable ShredBed baseplate padding puts you closer to your topsheet for a lower center of gravity
Primo Capstrap fits over the top or the toe of your boot to match your preference
Smooth Glide buckles lock you down in a flash and release when you need 'em to
Bottom Line: Ultimate board feel and adjustability without weighing you down.
Hey my friend was saying that they make an adapter for this binding so it can be put on regular 6 screw bindings. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is true? Thanks
They do but they don't work very well. I used them with my K2 bindings on my new Burton Monkey Wrench and couldn't make it down the mountain without my bindings turning, ended up picking up the Missions EST and am very happy with my purchase.
Burton EST Bindings can only be mounted on a Burton Board with the channel or ICS. Female inserts slide into the channel and male inserts attached the bindings to the board.
EST/ICS allows for ultimate board flex and feel. It also allows for unlimited stance options.

The 2011 Burton mission est bindings are my favorite binding I've had i will never go to a disc binding agina I love my burton 2011mission binding I got them size medium and there so light est Is by removing the materials under you feet there reducing the weight that a normal binding would it's more light and and you can chose you stance option make shure you have a Burton board that has the channel and you can change the foot beds on the 2011 mission est bindings ever est binding comes with the m6 mouting hardware kit so you mount it on your channel board it comes with a booklet so it shows you how you can adjust your stance with est and shows how you adjust your bindings so thay fit well with your boots this binding is good for park riding pillows and I'm very happy with this binding

Jason depending on what model you have. The TWC Pro has the channel which is compatible with these EST bindings. However if you have the TWC Standard board you are going to need non EST bindings with traditional hole pattern.
These bindings are the best bindings i have ever used ! Medium flex so it fits good everywhere ! i love the superstrap and the ubercap !! huge straps and the toestrap fits perfect over the tip of the boot !
The Burton Mission binding. It is one of the most ridden bindings on the market for a reason. Which is comfort and performance. Year after year the Mission improves.
This year the Mission has a new single component Canted High back, similar to the old Cartel high back. Another improvement is the New removable shredBed 2.0. This foot bed is ultra lightweight and features a stance indicator window for easy mounting.
The binding is made out of 30% short glass and a Nylon composite to give the rider strength and flexibility. The Mission has a 6 responsiveness rating.
EST offers the most amount of flexibility, comfort, and board feel from a binding. EST will flex 90% more than a traditional disk binding. It will only work on an channel Burton board.
Nope they won't. You need the normal Missions not the EST version. http://www.dogfunk.com/burton-mission-snowboard-binding Mediums are 8-10 and Large are 10.5 and up.
