Get the most cush for your coin.
A staple of Burton's binding line for longer than many people have been snowboarding, the 2012 Mission EST Snowboard Binding is loaded with more high-end tech than ever. The newest Mission features the responsive Team Skyback and mega-cushy Superstrap that, until this year, only showed up on more expensive bindings in Burton's line.
- EST design removes the rigid binding tray from under your foot, allowing your board to flex more naturally (compatible with Burton Channel boards only)
- Cushy SensoryBED absorbs impact from high-speed chop or harsh landings
- Canted Team Skyback II mirrors your natural leg position for less calf fatigue and improved heelside control
- Superstrap ankle strap keeps your feet feeling good from first chair to last chair

If you don't plan on sticking to Burton boards don't get the EST. I'm leaving Burton for Lib-Tech and Never Summer boards. I found these binding quite comfortable for the time that I used them.
Good but a little too flexible
THese are great bindings but have more lateral flexibility than they say. It sometimes feels like your about to break the binding in half.

This binding is not compatible with the gnu four-hole system...burton makes a mission that isnt est that will work. Otherwise this will be a very good binding

Will these bindings work with a Gnu Danny Kass board?
No, EST only fits on the Burton Channel. Check out the Cartel Re:flex or Malavita Re:Flex for a similar ride to the EST. The Cobrashark would also be a great binding that comes with a traditional disc.
