The Mission Re-Flex binding is great. They can crank down truly tight and are very easy to release, unlike some bindings that I have used. The mechanisms feel solid and work smoothly. The flex is pretty firm, which I like. I find that the Burton men's size small bindings work better for me (female) than the women's size large.
Bad stance options

So for some reason Burton has decided to tell us what stance distances we can have...the reflex discs keep you imprisoned to the stances your board offers only, no micro adjustments like on other discs. So, for example, I'm stuck with 3/4" adjustments with my 4x4 board (Ride Berzerker). I like a 23" stance, but can only get 22 3/4" or 23.5". To me, a 1/4" is a big difference. So yeah, Burton screwed the pooch again. I loved their bindings for along time now, but I just cant understand why they feel the need to limit the consumer, almost punishing them for riding another board other than a Channel type. Union, Ride, Drake, Flow etc all figured out how to make a disc that works for any board you like and fully adjustable! Burton can't? Hmmm I don't believe that. So anyway, I'm done with their bindings...I want to adjust my bindings to the exact measurments i feel most comfortable at and allow me to have the most control, therefore the most fun! Is that too much to ask? Not if you buy bindings from a company that doesn't want to rule the market at the expense of the consumer's freedom to choose.
To be fair, the toe strap is the best out there I do believe, everything else is just ok...
As expected

these are great bindings. Seem like they will hold up pretty well for years to come. I'm a little worried about the foam sole wearing out but only time will tell. I ride maybe 8 times a year so they shouldn't get beat up too bad.
Price could be a little bit better but all around they are what they are and worth the money for me personally.

This binding kills it for everything. This binder is great in the park and all mtn. Stiff enough for good response, but soft enough for jibbing and super comfy.
Pretty sick

They're ultra responsive and pretty versatile. The ratchets could be better but all around it's a solid piece of equipment.

definitely! I am female and this is my favorite binding so far. Unless you have feet larger than 9.5, get the small.

Rugged, reliable, and versatile, the Burton Mission EST offers nuke-proof performance in a no-nonsense package that sits between the Malavita and Cartel in terms of softness and response. Re:Flex? unlocks the baseplate for an evolution in cushioned flex and feel that?s compatible with virtually every board on snow.
