Burton Mongrel Jacket - Men's - 2010

Stay comfortable all day in the terrain park without looking like you're heading into orbit. Burton gave the Men's Mongrel Jacket the technical features to let you rip the rails and blast the booters for hours with a casual look. Flight Satin Fabrication gives the Mongrel a chill style that isn't trying too hard while Burton's Jacket Features Package ensures all-day comfort in the harshest weather.

  • DryRide Durashell laminated fabric gives you waterproof breathable protection
  • ALS lining insulates in critical areas and is more breathable in sweatier spots
  • Fulltime Contour Hood for a warm noggin

Bottom Line: A casual space suit.

I LOVE this jacket... it is just so amazing... the varsity look is steezy, and there are tons of features. Interior stash pocket, and built in bottle opener make for some good times. The iPod pocket, with inside whole make it easy to listen to music, without worry of losin your tunes... Love this jacket... Amazing

Dooooope Jacket

Overall a sick jacket. I am 5'11" and got an extra large because I like the gangster thug g-unit length and steeze. Anywho, the jacket is awesome. I've been wearing it for the past few weeks straight just blasting through trees and it doesn't have a scratch or snag on it. The pockets and vents are pretty easily accessed with mittens on and the hood has plenty of room to put a helmet underneath it for those really cold days. My 1 and only complaint is that the stretchy striped material at the very bottom does collect some ice on those deep snow days but it's so far past my waist that it doesn't really bother me. Happy shredding!

I would probably run the small, but follow this sizing to make sure you get the right size; The chest measurement for a Small is: 36 - 38" and Medium is: 38 - 40"

Mongrel

By:
November 19, 2010

The Burton Mongrel jacket got some really good press for this season. With more than a couple team riders taking this jacket out for a spin you might have seen it around. The Mongrel is a team fit making it longer in the arms and the body. I'm 5'9" 155 and like a medium for riding and a small for walking around town in. All the style and colors on this jacket are on point, and don't think your losing out and any feature with this kit. This jacket has everything you need to take it jumping in the back country or riding in the streets.

What happened to the removable powder skirt? It was on last year's restricted team booth jacket, and both the Burton website and dogfunk say it has removable powder skirts yet when I got these in the mail they are fixed to the jacket. Hope it wasn't Burton stopped doing the pants zip in thing.
