I'm looking to get a new backpack for college. I expect to be carrying a binder, a paper notebook, a 10" netbook, and a textbook depending on the professor. These bags seem heavy duty and look awesome at the same time. Any recommendations on this bag or others?

Hydration

Riding all day with out some sort of fluid is a really bad idea. You don't think you are thirsty but your body would tell you differently. This bag solves that problem. The Oasis pack holds up to 70 ounces of liquid. That is more than enough for a day of riding or hiking. The bag also has room for whatever ever else you would like to carry on these adventures. It also has a vertical board carry system. Really great bag.

If you look at the pictures above you should be able to get an idea of how the straps work. There are 4 straps on the bag, when carrying a board the 4 straps turn into 2 straps.

Almost Perfect

Good pack. It's not too bulky and you can keep the essentials in there for a backcountry day. My only knock is the spout can freeze up on colder days making it tough to get the water out of there, and the vertical carry system is a little harder to figure out than it needs to be. But other than that, it's top shelf.

no it does not... but both the Burton Riders pack and Sled Pack do... They are also both hydration compatible (just has to be purchased separately!)
