Burton Poacher Jacket - Men's - 2008

The Burton Men’s Poacher Jacket features 40g Thermacore insulation to provide enough warmth for chilly mid-winter days without being too hot to wear in the spring. If you do heat up a bit, just open the mesh-lined Underarm zips to chill out. Burton gave this jacket a slim fit for those who aren’t trying to look like gangstas on the slopes. Critically taped seams and 5K-rated Durashell fabric gives you plenty of weather protection without being overkill for sessioning the park on a crystal-clear day. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: Not too hot, not too cold… just right.

i wish this bad boy had a drawstring for the hood cause ny can freeze your ass off with this wind but so far thats the only drawback. also it could use at least one inside pocket like the trigger

Extremely pleased

I bought this jacket about a week ago and was a little worried that it might be too small. The sizing chart doesn't really do this jacket justice. It has the Burton Sig fit which is their classic look. It's a little baggy but not g-unit style. The thing I really like about it is the long length it has. It covers the butt which makes it perfect for snow since you don't want any snow gettin down your pants!

One thing I was slightly disappointed in is the insulation, it's just kind of meh. I wore it around and it just doesn't seem like it would cut it on one of those 0 to -10 days. Above about 10 degrees though I would say it's perfect.

I would highly recommend, I got the Mocha Comic Print and thinks it's a sick design. It's fun but not too loud.

Warm Jacket

I like this jacket SO much, its just that i got the boring plain black one but that's ok. Its very warm, but on 10 degree days, wear under armor. Trust me. On 30 degree days, use the pit zips. they are really convenient! i actually used them yesterday. Nice jacket, the sizing really isnt true to size though. I wear L and my dad got me S and it fits like a M. It doesnt fit but oh well. The powder skirt is nice too.
