Zip up your Burton Men\222s Poacher Insulated Jacket, and sneak around the security guards at the business park. This regular-fit snowboard jacket features Burton\222s DryRide Durashell coating and lightweight insulation to help you stay toasty during your pursuit of triple-kinked rails. The ALS lining features strategically placed fabrics, each with a job such as retaining your heat at your core or wicking moisture from underarms. Zip this jacket to your Burton pants for a head-to-ankle shield from the powder when you pilfer stashes at the resort.
Simple mistake, whateverbut seriously the skirt on this jacket is a real bummer, it's way too fitted even when open so it sucks the lower midsection in. I've had a similar problem on an old Oakley jacket but this is a little more severe. I cut the skirt out with scissors and it helped so much, now it fits nice and relaxed, lays flat and doesn't interfere with layers underneath........I hate non removable skirts
Ugh! Reverse steeze :P No seriously though, I hate when the tech specs are wrong. You are right though...simple mistake. Still a bummer. I picked up last years model of the foursquare adams jacket, with same tech spec about removable powder skirt. Not removable. Worse still, someone reviewed it and said that it was. Super weaksauce!

The Burton Poacher Jacket is everything that you would want from a Burton jacket at a price that can't be beat. Now you go and add some extra insulation to this model and it like adding fuel to the amazing fire. Coming in at under $165 or even less for most models it's still packed with features like DRYRIDE Durashell, 5,000MM,5,000G, water resistance like no other. With all the bells and whistles of other Burton jackets it's a great riding jacket. Also with a Sig fit and varies colorways it translates easily into your street attire.
Go with the XL. Your arms are going to need the XL length. It won't be that baggy, the poacher is not a team fitting jacket, it has Burton's regular fit.
I just have to figure out what size to order before I pull the trigger. I'd like this to fit pretty baggy, but not so much that I look ridiculous, probably hitting in the middle of my thigh. Not really going for steeze, just loose fitting comfort
I'm ~5'9" 180-ish and for further reference I have a...
TNF Apex Bionic, size M, hit's right below the waist TNF Denali Jacket, size M, hit's right below the waist BC.com Stoic 2.0 Shell, size L, hit's right below the waist
I'm looking for this jacket to be a good 6-8 inches longer than any of those
Hopefully someone can help me nail the sizing on this, thanks!

Thanks for the help guy's, the large is coming in the mail today
Jesse is right on with this. Go with the Large. There is nothing worse then extending your arms and have the cuff of your jacket expose your wrists. Large is the size.
From what the other reviewers are posting on this piece, I would really say go with a Large. I am 6' 170lbs and I would hit up a Large. This jacket would prolly end up past my waist, but with your height it will add that extra length you are looking for without being ultra baggy. I know Lyman reps the Burton wear so maybe he is of different opinion, maybe wait for his expertise.

I'm a guy, 5'11'' tall, but just 150lbs. I already have a burton defender (team fit) on M, and it's baggy and love it, would a L on poacher (sig fit) fit me as well as my defender does?
Im from the Northeast and it gets real cold. it can easily be below 20 and sometimes in the single digits. will this jacket keep me warm with a normal amount of layers?
It does have insulation but a very light insulation... only 40 grams. So, it is one of the lightest insulated pieces you can buy. Jackets go upwards of 500 Grams insulation. (just a weight setting to explain how warm a jacket can be)
I am 6'2" and have a 50 inch Chest and usually jackets fit me tight in the arm pits . I was concerned when Burton did away with their Ronin line which used the TEAM FIT. I bought the XXL and it fit rather just like a Ronin sized jacket would it was perfect in size. I can bundle up and not worry about any lack of space. I love this Jacket and the fit used it on veterans day weekend up in Brighton UT.
I'm 5' 9", female, and usually wear a size 13. I was looking for a larger/long/baggy jacket. I've already got 20 days of riding with it this season. It isn't the warmest jacket, but it is large enough to wear a hoodie underneath. No wet butt! and the sleeves are long, so no cold wrists! The red is bold & looks great with my black pants and new Seth Morrison red Oakleys.
I am 6'0" 195lbs and rock a large... I like a pretty standard fit so its not too baggy. I would agree and unless you have long arms a medium should suffice.
no friggen irish green this season?! i am pretty upset about this! seeing how it was such a popular jacket last season and i never got my hands on one.. :(
