Description

The team favorite that's perfect for we mortals too.

The Burton Process Flying V Snowboard has quickly become a team favorite for its forgiving flex and playful twin shape. For this year, the ride gets fine-tuned with Squeezebox, which works in conjunction with The Channel mounting system to provide smooth, even flex over the length of the board. It gets a laundry list of tech that makes it insanely capable everywhere, but where it really shines is in the park. Go ahead, get wild on it. Most of Burton's team does already.

The twin shape of the Process makes switch takeoffs and landings a breeze. The stance is set back half an inch for directional stability, but feel free to mount it up centered if that's more to your liking. The flex is directional, with the tail being slightly stiffer than the nose for powerful ollies. Flying V puts rocker between your feet for a catch-free ride and deep snow float, and blends it with camber under the bindings for extra control. Frostbite edges enhance that control by bumping out under the bindings, for extra grip on ice and hardpack.

Smooth Ride suspension provides extra damping to smooth out those harsh landings. Squeezebox core profiling thins the core under the binding for a consistent flex across the entire length of the board. The Scoop tip and tail profile lifts the edges for catch-free butters, and the Pro Tip construction keeps the swing weight down for faster spins. Infinite ride means your board feels broken in right out of the box, and stays that way. The sintered base holds a bunch of wax, and will keep you flying all over the mountain, instead of getting stuck every time things flatten out.

Very Fun All Mountain Board! Buy it!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am a sucker for Designs with Green So I was attracted to this Board. I am 5?9, 150 pounds and went with a 152. This Board was a lot of fun, has great flex and good pop, easy to carve and use as an all mountain board. First trip I had it out I had it on the groomers and that night got fresh pow and this board just exceeded my expectation on the pow and was so fast and easy to control. I felt this board helped me step up my game and really enjoyed it. Only thing is I feel that the top coat might be a little easy to scratch or chip so take care of it, but that is normal when it comes to a clear coat on a board you are going to put through the wringer.
Also Love Dogfunk for great Customer service and coming back and price matching after they dropped the price on the board.

Great all mountain freestyle Board!!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This board is awesome for your intermediate freestyle rider! It's has lots of pop, good speed, and has a super soft flex which I love. Whether you like to hit the terrain park or carve up black diamonds this board will do it all. The only complaints I have with this board is that when buttering and such the edges sometimes get caught due to the flying v profile and that it is not made to bomb hills like the Custom X or other stiffer boards are made to do. Other than those small complaints, I love this board and am very happy with my purchase.

To Much Tech

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Hated it! I've never not liked a board. (Sapient PNB1 and 2, Forum scallywag, Rome artifact rocker, Burton Hero, Burton road soda, Burton hate) I rode it because I got it for a great deal and am inlove with EST, rode it once and sold it.
