Burton Process Snowboard - 2012
Simple appearance and complex tech are just two of the seemingly-contradictory elements that make up the Burton Process Snowboard. Clean design and traditional camber make it seem basic, but with Smooth Ride dampening, playful-yet-grippy Frostbite edges, and Scoop Tips, the Process is a high-tech all-mountain shredding machine that is aggressive on the steeps and playful in the park.
- Cambered profile offers tons of pop and smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail
- Triax fiberglass gives a versatile flex and response for all-mountain performance
- Frostbite edges extend slightly beneath your bindings to provide increased edge-hold in icy conditions
- Scoop Tips lifts the edges slightly at the tip and tail for a more forgiving and playful feel
- Super Fly core uses a mix of hard and soft woods to save weight and increase pop and response
- Twin-Like shape gives you the freestyle feel of a true twin, but with improved float and control on the rest of the mountain
- Infinite Ride consists of Burton overbuilding the board, and then breaking it in at the factory, for a ride that stays crisp and poppy season after season
- Pro-Tip uses a thinner tip and tail for reduced swing weight
- Smooth Ride internal dampening provides a less jarring ride when the terrain gets rough
- 10:45 sidewalls are extra beefy for bomber impact protection
- Sintered base is lightning-quick, durable, and holds wax longer
- Infinite Ride consists of Burton overbuilding the board, and then breaking it in at the factory, for a ride that stays crisp and poppy season after season
- The Channel allows you to micro-adjust your stance over a greater length and an infinite range (only compatible with Burton bindings)
Bottom Line: Being able to do it all is just part of the process.
