Burton Process Snowboard - 2010

When your plan for the run calls for you to bomb down the groomer, duck the rope halfway down the trail, head into the slightly crusty powder in the trees, and then hit the cannon in the secret clearing in the woods, you want a versatile, mid-wide machine like the Burton Process Snowboard strapped to your feet.

  • The Channel mounting system lets you fine-tune your stance width and angle to the max; when combined with Burton EST bindings, it provides ultimate board feel and control; adaptable to three-hole and four-hole bindings
  • Smoothride internal dampening absorbs shocks so you don’t pay the price for going big
  • Frostbite Edges protrude just slightly from under your bindings to help you get a grip on hard, icy surfaces and power through crud
  • Scoop shaping turns up your tip and tail slightly for a floaty, catch-free ride in or on anything from pow to park features
  • Symmetrical twin shape goes regular or switch with ease; directional flex helps maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions
  • Lightweight Super Fly Core mixes up hard and soft woods to save weight and improve snap and response
  • Durable, highly porous sintered base provides superior wax absorption for the extra speed you’ll need to outrun the mountain patrol

Bottom Line: Sweet! Let's do that one again.

The Process

The Burton Process is a cambered board built for the likes of Jussi Oksanen and Charles Reid. As a Twin Shaped board it is built for stability and response under pressure. This board can take you off the biggest back country jump will still allowing you to hold an edge through the sketchiest conditions with tech. like Frostbite edges.

The Camber on this board is minimal and helps this board preform amazing in powder because of the flex that you can get out of it keeping you nose or tail up and floating. Infinite ride provides the broken in feel of a board with out having to actually take the time to break it in. Also it allows the board to have the same pop on day 100 as it did on day 1. I highly recommend this board to everyone, super fun and really good all around board.
