def a lightweight jacket.. not what I expected at all.. very cute.. has the posibility for layering underneath it.. not sure if i will be keeping it.. a bit disappointed
I had to send the first one back due to a defective zipper. Really? With the Burton name and costing $250, you would think there wouldn't be poor quality issues. The second one seems fine.
Very pretty, but too light weight and started coming apart after the first time I wore it. Too expensive of a jacket for such poor outcome. Sorry because in person it is really beautiful.
Very thin jacket, definitely need to layer up a lot if you want to stay warm, but it has a lot of room to do that. Also the wrist gaiters do not keep the snow out, they're just to keep the jacket sleeves in place, which is not what I expected. The jacket is too cold for me and I'll be returning it.
I bought this jacket to match with my burton insulated pants. I was a bit disappointed when it arrived and I felt how thin it was. So on a regular cold winter day say 30-40's I had to layer up underneath with a thermo and sweater. Wish it had more insulation. On the flip side, this jacket is definitely waterproof even on warmer days when the snow is slushy and melting. It clips to my pants perfectly. The cuffs are a bit small and it would be nice if it had a zipper. I wore mittens with them and had a hard time tucking my mittens under the sleeve cuffs.
Totally Versital Jacket!
This jacket is light weight and technical with fully weatherproof/breath ability. There is plenty of room for layering midwinter or open the vents in the spring, this shell really is perfect for any condition. My favorite new feature is the Pow Grip in the sleeves keeping them locked in place preventing snow packed sleeves in deep pow! This is the staple riding piece!
