Description

Pro-level park boot with all-mountain support.

The all-new Burton Ritual women's snowboard boot doesn't know where the park ends and the rest of the mountain begins. The Imprint 3 liner is heat moldable, so your boots feel broken-in before you even take them on their first run. Freezing your toes off is a drag, which is why the Ritual has Sleeping Bag heat reflective foil. It's essentially the same material as a space blanket, which means that your feet stay toasty warm, especially on cold days. The articulated cuff provides enough support for sending big jumps, without giving up the flex you need for tweaked grabs and balanced presses. Speed Zone lacing enables you to independently tighten the top and bottom of your boot, so your feet stay put. It doesn't hurt that they're way easier on your hands than traditional laces, and they work even if you're wearing gloves. That's a lot of tech, and the result is a freestyle feel in a boot that kills it all over the mountain.

Awesome all-around boot!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've ridden the Burton Supremes for the past seven years or so. This season I wanted to hone in on the park, but still be able to slay the entire mountain -- backcountry, powder, groomers, park, and just plain hard chargin'. This boot does it all! It's soft enough that it allows for needed movement in the park, but it will definitely still hold up at high speeds all over the mountain. I tried the Burton Day Spa boots, but those were way too noodley. The Rituals are comfortable, heat moldable, and the Speed Zone lacing is always a plus -- I love being able to control the upper and lower zones on their own. I was a bit skeptical about the Sleeping Bag heat reflective foil part, but I must admit, this is the warmest my toes have ever been -- from wet, icy days on the Icecoast, to fresh pow days in Colorado, to uncharted territory in Mt. Baker, WA. And if you have a problem with heel hold like I do, stop by your local shop and ask for some J-bars -- little Velcro pads that increase heel hold. Awesome boots!
