updated review - love these pants!
So I left a review before I had tried these in action, and now that I have, I can tell you that they were SO well worth the money!! I went snowboarding for the first time in early to mid February, and even though the snow was a bit wet and slushy due to unseasonably warm temps, my butt stayed completely dry (and I did spend a lot of time on my butt and knees!). The pants looked great and kept me warm and comfortable the entire time - can't ask for more than that.
I've actually never been snowboarding before but I am determined to learn this winter! I was looking through the options just to see, and bought these because they were rated so highly (and they were on sale!)... the fit is more flattering than I would've thought possible for snowboard pants, and the color is great! My only complaint is that you can't really tell from the picture that the sassafras pants actually have a light pinstripe as well, and I bought these to go with the Burton Duchess jacket that was also sassafras but had a gingham pattern... might swap the pants for white, but will definitely get the same brand/style again!
I love the Burton Rodeo pants. I wear a base layer underneath, they would be perfect if insulated. Great length (I'm 5'5) and flattering cut even though they are baggy.
Even with a baggy fit it makes these pants nice to wear cause you have room to move around and be comefortable. They are very stylish and don't look like poofy winter pants.
cute, but too short
These snowpants are super cute, but are a couple inches too short for me. Granted, I'm 5'8". Other than that, I can't complain.
These pants are way sweeter than the pics posted on the site! They run big. So..... if you like a baggy fit... order according to the size chart. Lovin' the way the backside looks!!! These pants should work great in spring conditions!!
I have recently just bought these pants & when I received them I was really impressed. These pants are super comfy I love the fact that it has a removable belt & with my long legs then length on them were perfect! I would definitly recommend these pants to anyone!
