Burton Ronin Trigger Jacket - Men's - 08/09 - 2008

Cocked, locked and ready to rock, the Burton Men's Trigger Jacket has all the flash and style to blow up the park. 10K Dryride 2L fabric blocks moisture from seeping in during spring park sessions, while a flannel lining and Thermacore insulation keep you warm in colder conditions. Burton gave the Ronin Trigger Jacket a fulltime, wire-framed hood for storm protection and killer style. Before you get on the lift, stash your pass in the stealth pass pocket, and extra shades in this insulated snowboard jacket's goggle pocket, and iPod in the interior sound pocket. *Available for US shipment only. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: The Burton Ronin Trigger Jacket nails the bull's eye when it comes to warmth and function.

Yes, this jacket runs big. But it's all good because when you layer up, that takes up a bunch of room. Also, you don't want it to be constricting when you're hucking your meat.

I'm looking to get this for my husband for x-mas. He's 5'11 and 190--muscular build. He wears xxl shirts. He has unreasonably large shoulders, but from what I've read I should get him an xl jacket. Is that right?

Correct... I am 6'0" and 190 athletic lbs... I handle the Large. If his shoulders are all wicked-buff than the XL is the way to go!

Ronin rocks!

Any Ronin jacket you get will be a great investment. Some have a better breathable rating but Burton's Ronin line keeps you bone dry on the mountain. I couldn't find my trigger jacket on here(it's a little older pattern) but it has lasted for years. Board safe homies!

Due to the fabric on the jacket, it does have some sheen to it... However, by no means would I call it shiny. I tried attaching another picture to give you a little better idea!

The fabric is actually pretty rad... I don't want to call it a hearing bone (because its not quite) but it almost looks like one due to the texture.

if it is the same material as the other colors, it's burton's proprietary fabric, dryride. it's 2 layer and 10k so it should keep you dry while riding.
