Burton Ruler Snowboard Boot - Men's - 2009

From hidden powder stashes to massive hits, the Burton Men's Ruler Snowboard Boot owns the mountain. These shred-anything all-mountain boots use micro-articulating cuffs and full-length backstays to give you the right amount of flex and support to ride the deeps in the morning and the terrain park in the afternoon. Burton's Speed Zone lacing system offers independent upper and lower zonal control for quick adjustments when you're in a hurry—like when there's two feet of freshies. Power Panel Technology in the Ruler Boots' heat-moldable liners employs support panels that help them maintain the first-day flex and rebound on the hundredth day you wear them. All this tech, along with the Ruler Boot's EVA footbeds and 3D molded tongues, ensure your feet will comfortably reign over the mountain from first chair to last run. *Available for US Shipment Only. - Fall 2009.

Bottom Line: Ride with the Burton Ruler Boots and the mountain will bow down.

they break easy

By:

Very comfy out of the box, no pressure points. After 1 season (about 70 days), the boot packed out about 1 full size, the speed zone lace (while convenient) fell apart, the toe ripped and peeled back on one foot, and the threads ripped on the other. Not good tread for hiking. It fits great paired with other Burton bindings. Very soft boot, nearly no support after the break in.
They're great for a beginning rider who rides few days a year, but don't hold up well to rough treatment.

great boots, but the laces sometimes snap and if you have them for more than a year burton wont replace them for free.

Great All-Around Boot

This boot is a great all-around boot that is very stiff at first but breaks in quickly to give you a moderately flexing boot.

best boots i've ever had.

By:

The speed lace system is amazing. These are by far the best boots I have ever worn. I appreciate the previous reviwer recommending a .5 size smaller than I normally wear, as the heat moldable insert will flex out over time. Can't go wrong with these boots! Thanks, you have a comitted customer for life.

nice stuff

i have these boots. They're pretty sick.
all the good reviews on it are true except the no pressure points comment, cuz each person has different feet and u need to find what fits to your foot the best.
You should definitely not buy these a size bigger cuz of the way the speed lace system works.... and just in case u cared, if the laces feel loose on top its probably just cuz your leg is a little skinnier than what the boot can tighten up to. its not a big problem though cuz once i got strapped in it was all the same
