Burton Sage Down Jacket - Women's - 2011

The Burton Women's Sage Down Jacket is one foxy jacket that's hard to resist. Whether it's the Sage's 650-fill down insulation, waterproof breathable shell, removable faux fur trim, or its smooth style, the Sage definitely has it going on in all areas of comfort.

  • 15K-rated fabric keeps the wet out so you stay dry and comfortable
  • 650-Fill down insulation ensures you're not a shivering mess on sub-zero days
  • Breathable fabric and mesh-lined underarm vents dump excess heat during top-to-bottom runs
  • A removable hood with removable faux fur trim lets you decide your look
  • A Sig fit allows you to layer underneath and provides plenty of mobility
  • A removable powder skirt blocks out snow
  • Multiple internal and external pockets for you to stash your riding essentials

Bottom Line: The Sage meets all your riding needs.

More of a indoor jacket

I ordered the white jacket and it is very nice, but I probably wouldnt wear it as a boarding jacket. It felt like I took my comforter out of bed with me (kinda puffy), and would probably get dirty really fast. Seems a little expensive for what I got, so had to return it.

Great color, cute detail work, a little puffy

The jacket in 'vain' is a really vibrant pink and the accent color is a cool grey, which go so well together. The big buttons are super cute and are actually velcro making it easy to get on and off. The hood is sweet, comes down low enough that it wouldn't fall off easily and the faux fur makes the jacket look nice and cozy. Despite all of the positive attributes, I did wind up returning the jacket because it was just too puffy for my frame. I'm 5'2" and ordered a small and it looked too big for me, like I borrowed someone else's jacket. An xsmall would be too small for my bust, so alas I am returning. It would be a great jacket for someone slightly taller, and although I did not wear it outside, it seemed very warm with room to layer underneath.
