Like your favorite skate shoes, except way better.

The Burton Sapphire women's snowboard boot is designed to give you skate-inspired freedom in a super light, supportive package. The heat-moldable Imprint 2 liner gives you broken-in feel before you even hit the hill, and on cold days, the Hot Pockets give you a place to toss your toe warmers. The Crossbone cuff provides plenty of flex for tweaked grabs and balanced presses, and it doesn't sacrifice support when you need it. Traditional laces let you dial in the fit, which is already optimized for the shape of a woman's foot. So when you're ready to get unapologetically freestyle, you know what to strap to your feet.

  • Traditional lacing
  • Medium-soft flex
  • Crossbone articulated cuff
  • Stay-Puft 3D molded tongue
  • Shrinkage footprint reduction technology
  • DynoLite EST outsole with B3 Gel

Wear it, stomp it.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These boots outshine all the rest. I've taken a lot of bad falls and some really brutal landings and these boots have been nothing but supportive and stable for my feet and ankles. They still have a lot of flex which is awesome and they are pretty soft so they're really comfortable to wear all day. They do run big as do most Burton boots, I wear a size 7-7.5 shoe and I got these boots in a 6 and they fit perfect. These are strong boots, so even though they are soft, it still took me about 2 weeks to break in.

Intermediate Rider, Looking to Upgrade

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Started riding this past season and went really frequently (1-2 times per weekend from early Dec thru late April). I do a lot of all mountain riding, and here in the New England area, conditions can vary from icy to soft to powder to slush, depending on the day and mountain. I bought my old boots used and didn't really know what to look for. Turns out that they were a little big for me (I got 9's and I wear 8.5 regular shoes, plus the brand apparently runs large), and pretty soft in flexibility. Once I got to be more of an intermediate level later this season, I decided it was a good idea to upgrade my setup for this coming year.

Got the Sapphires in black and I love them. Tried on other Burton boots in a local shop, wasn't crazy about the complex lacing systems (I'm a traditional girl), but got a rough idea of sizing. The 7.5's of other styles fit me well so I ordered the Sapphires in a 7.5. When I first got them, I regretted that and worried that an 8 would've been better (looking back, an 8 would've been fine as well, I'm sure). But I tried them out for a few days on the mountain and the thermo lining did it's magic and they felt much better. Wore them around my apartment a bunch too while hanging out, cooking, etc. Once they broke in a bit, they felt way less tight and so far have given me an excellent & responsive ride. Like night and day compared to my old setup. Comfortable while waiting in line for the lift and hanging in the lodge, too. Can't wait for next season!

im a advanced snowboarder and i do a lot of back country snowboarding and powder and lots of black runs i was just wondering if this boot will be suitable to my level or do i need something more stiff thanks

Hi Ruby Leah,
This is a medium boot when it comes to stiffness. So it is good for a variety of riding styles. The stiffer the boot, the better for powder. But medium is great for powder too, just not as responsive. Medium isn't too soft for powder, and not too stiff for park and freestyle.

Love this boot. I am a traditional lace up kind of girl so no Boa or Speedlace for me, and these boots are amazing. They break in really quickly and are so comfortable while riding or hiking. I have wide feet and they are a great fit! I love the leopard print too!
