Burton Space Sack - 09/10 - 2009

The Burton Space Sack fits your stick with bindings, and it won't cost you your arm, leg, and left nipple to get. If you want to pack both your powder and rail boards, remove the bindings, slip them into this bag, and throw it on your truck bed for the drive to the resort. Since you’ll still have both your arms, you’ll appreciate that the Space Sack comes with a removable shoulder strap and two handles to give you carry options.

Bottom Line: Go where the snow is.

I'm looking for a basic snowboard bag that will fit my board and my bindings without having to adjust them (take them down). Just something light that I can use to put it in to get to and from the hill. Not inyterested in board bags with wheels or pockets, just something to cover my board and bindings as they are set.

This is your jam then. This bag is perfect travel to and from the hill. You do not need to take your bindings off at all.

I also have a 157; would it be safe to say the 156 sack would fit just the board by itself without bindings and such?

It should fit, but if you cram too much product in to the sack, because to board is a 157 it may not fit. But you could get lucky, try it out.

It might, It will be a close fit, but it is doable. To be sage I would size up. More space is always better then less.

Any bag is better than no bag, although, you may want to up grade to the wheelie gig bag. It has extra padding so you don't have to worry about the baggage handlers messing your board up.

If you get a 156 bag your boots should fit just fine... If you want to be sure, you should grab a bag like the gig bag (just a step up) that is built with slightly more room (and padding) to pack extra stuff!

This bag is perfect for you day to day riding travels. Helps protect your stuff and your friend's car. Through all you got into this, then put into the trunk or the bed of the truck. Get home, unzip then air it all out for the next day. Think about upgrading if you plan to travel a lot, but if not this is a perfect bag for you. Check it out.

This is a great boardbag! I love it. I just used it last week in Winter Park, CO and it fit all my gear and my board w/ room to spare. I had my boots, helmet, and board in there. Great bag!

Space Sack Review

By:
January 14, 2010

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter... she is riding a Burton 110 ... although the bag is a bit awkward let's face it she's 6 :) I would recommend the bag as the colors are cool, holds the board and boots and makes organizing a cinch!
