Description

Good at a lot of things, really good at one.

There’s nothing wrong with using the Burton Men’s Spectre Glove to take out the trash on a chilly morning, practice curling, or get after a little speed-walking. Well, speed-walking isn’t very cool, but most other chilly-weather activities are OK to do in the Spectre glove. Ideally, though, you should be throwing a big, nasty, corked-out seven and cranking a grab hard enough to flex your board…
  • Toughgrip palm is waterproof, breathable, grabby, and durable
  • DryRide Ultrashell material is stretchy and breathable for comfort
  • Pistol-grip pre-curved fingers for natural fit

The Spectre lets you bring out your inner fashion without dressing crazy. The color blocks are sick. And the no slip grip will let you show off on every level. Best in warmer days.

These gloves work very well for spring boarding. My local hill is Mt. High in Wrightwood, Cali. On the few rare occasions that the temp. has dropped into the 30's my hands have been kept warm. However, once these gloves get wet, it is game over in lower temps. Warm fleshy digits turn to icicles. The white design of the gloves also started to wear fairly quickly on the palms even before I started boning out grabs. I have put in 23 days and counting and these gloves have held up very well other than the white rubber coming off the palms. I have yet to put any holes in them. Overall they are pretty decent and fairly affordable.

Cool design and easy to wear. Not cumbersome. Keeps your hands warm and dry. Not for the extreme cold.

So far so good having put them on maybe 15 hours of park tow rope sessioning. BUT, the seams busted near the thumb and the velcro closure ripped off. The palms are good, but the actual quality of the glove is disappointing.

These are some good quality gloves i'm not going to lie, mostly waterproof, very comfortable and a padded grippy palm. now this is what i didn't like, they're not 100% waterproof, they are very thin, so they provide no protection versus the cold, especially once they start getting damp. surprisingly they do dry quick. they're not perfect but i like them.

is this glove any warm? or no?

If you hands get cold easily then no. The gloves are pipe gloves, and are great for pipe riding. I do know people who run these always even in cold weather and are fine.
