Burton Strapped Down Jacket - Men's - 2008

The relaxed-fit Burton Men’s Strapped Down Jacket seals you in Dryride Durashell fabric and snorkel hood, so you can go deep and stay dry. Stash your pass in the see-through sleeve, zip the waist gaiter to your Burton pants, and breach uncharted territory. Burton’s combination of engineered goose down and strategically placed Thermacore insulation keep you cozy and fully mobile—crucial when you’re reaching for a grab. This Burton jacket features a wire-framed hood that you can shape to fully shield your face from blizzards. You might be a burly mountain man, but admit it, climbing in the Strapped Down’s satin lining feels like jumping back into the womb. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: Winter can’t touch you in the Burton Strapped Down Jacket.

Got this jacket in the Gator Green Brain Damage and I dig it!! Sick jacket, and I really like the wire-framed hood for forming around your face (2008-2009 version). Also like that the fur trim is detachable. I ended up going with a small, medium was too big for me, and I'm 5' 10" 180lbs. Super warm, nice jacket and a great price too...

Bro Puff

This jacket is the balls. It is really long, but you can sinch the bottom and tuck it under when you're bro'ing out in the village, or pull it all the way down and have a toasty undercarriage when shromping. The fabric seems pretty durable for a puff as well, I've run the nuts to some trees with it already with no signs of damage.

Impressed but annoyed

By:

This jacket is really warm and looks good... it just was way too large when I ordered it at first. I'm around 6"1 and it came down to my knees. I ordered a Medium for the exchange but judging by the size of the large, I'm not sure that will even be small enough.
