Waterproof and breathable protection from winter weather is no joke.

Slim styling and silky smooth fabric makes the Burton Women's TWC High-Jinx Pant a shredding essential. DryRide Durshell fabric puts up with petulant winter weather from standard snowstorms to irritating ice events. The White Collection fashion-forward flair gives your silhouette a sleek look―straight and slim, this pant's fitted through the seat and leg so it's clear you're not just another boy-boarder. The taffeta lining helps this pant slip over your legs or layers while taking a bit of moisture vapor away. Only a little air gets through this durable pant, so when you're huffing and puffing, open up the mesh-lined thigh vents for on-the-spot AC.

Post-boarding bevvies no longer means you wind up with beer-soaked pants. Lift your cuffs with the built-in hem elevators so they stay clean through last call. Zippered handwarmer pockets give you a safe place to stow lip balm and cash, because boarding with a purse just doesn't work.

  • DryRide Durashell plain weave (10K/5K)
  • Taffeta lining
  • Slim fit
  • Mesh-lined inner thigh vents
  • Cuff elevators

warm days

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

My wife wanted a lighter pair of pants for warmer days. She fit her perfectly, she loved the cut and the "fit" (slim). She wore these a hand full of times in the spring snowboarding and snowmobiling, they were a little to light for her cruising 40mph through some powder fields, but once we were off the machines and boarding she was fine. She likes that she can wear these after riding without looking too bulky.

Comfortable Fit and Good Price

I got these on sale in blue (fantastic color) and although I haven't tested them yet in snow, they look promising. They are thinner, and I plan to layer on colder days. I got the medium for a little extra room for thermals and the length and legs fit very well. The waist is a bit larger than I expected, so much so that they will actually fall off without a belt, hence the four stars instead of 5. These don't have as many bells and whistles as some of Burton's other pants, but who needs all that to have a good time on the mountain?

Favorite pants

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I received so many compliments on how well these pants fit me. The pockets are perfectly placed and the little things like the belt loops, cuff elevators and inner thigh vents are just a few reasons why I loved these pants. They are super light and comfortable. I would suggest wearing a thermal underneath since they are quite thin when boarding on a colder day.

They are not joking when they say slim cut!

Awesome pants

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

These pants fit well and the fabric was really nice. I ended up getting a jacket that these colors did not go with, so I didn't keep them, but wished they had worked.

Hey, it looks like the only color we have in XS and S is redwood. I also checked to see if we had any more arriving soon, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like we do. Sorry!

What is a cuff elevator? And do these REALLY have no gaiters?
How do they keep snow from getting in boots or up your leg?

Best Answer Responded on

The cuff elevator is to pull up the bottom of the pant so you don't get them muddy or tear them while walking around.
These pants do have an elastic gaiter underneath the shell that will keep snow from coming up the legs.

Does this pant come in a short or petite length?

Responded on

Unfortunately the Burton TWC High-Jinx Pant does not come in variable lengths and we carry very few snowboard/ski pants that do. One option you might consider are the TNF Freedom which come in short, reg, and tall.

You always need extra money

Need some extra cash in your pocket for a new board, well this pant is super affordable with a lot of great features. Meshed inner thigh vents, fully taped seams, and the entire pant is taffeta lined!
