It is a pretty warm jacket overall but the question is somewhat subjective. It definitely depends on what it is you are doing and how your body generally does in cold weather. Naturally you will be much warmer if you are using this during activities like snowboarding or walking around. You may find yourself a bit chilly if you are just standing around.

The pictures indicate that this jacket has a detachable powder
The pictures indicate that this jacket has a detachable powder skirt and wrist gaiters. However the description says otherwise. Does anybody know which is right? And is the fur detachable?

Yes this jacket has a removable powder skirt and yes the fur is removable.
