Description

The man, the myth, the board.

The Burton TWC Pro Snowboard is the same deck that Shaun White has ridden to more podiums than you can count on your hands. Essentially a Custom X on steroids, this hard-charging board is designed to handle icy pipe walls and massive booters with ease thanks to a poppy, powerful feel and features meant to maximize stability and edge hold. So whether you're hucking triple corks or boosting stylish methods, the TWC Pro will put literally put you head and shoulders above the rest.

Want to know the secret to how Shaun boosts twenty-plus feet out of the pipe? Here's a hint: traditional camber. Only camber provides the pop, power, and edge hold needed to soar like Shaun. That edge hold gets an extra boost from Frostbite edges, which places bumps in the sidecut underneath your feet to give you even more grip. It has a setback stance for plenty of directional stability without compromising your ability to take off and land switch, which any video of Shaun throwing switch dub 1080s in slopestyle will attest to.

The ultra-light Super Fly II core keeps the overall weight down and provides a snappy feel. Weight is further reduced through Pro-Tip construction in the tip and tail, which knock the swing weight down for faster spins, and 45° Carbon Highlights carbon stringers radiate out from the binding to give you more response. Round it out with a super-fast, wax absorbent WFO sintered base, and you're out of excuses for coming up short on the biggest jumps in your local park.

Is that board can be used as a all mountain board? Compare with custom which one is better for riding but not for park?

Responded on

I would say custom the TWC pro has a large camber where the custom has a flying v or not a big of a camber look at other burton boards though.

This can definitely be used as an all mountain board! It's super stable on ice and hard pack but is still poppy and playful. I never go in the park but still really enjoy this board.
