Is this season you decide to add a warm jacket to your riding arsenal? Don’t let the thought looking like Ralphie’s little brother keep you from getting a puffy. Burton offers female shredders like you The White Collection Women’s Puffy Insulated Jacket. Thanks to the slim fit, feminine cut, and low-bulk, it'll be easy for people to pick you out as a sheila amongst the blokes.
2-Layer DRYRIDE Durashell nylon fabric holds up against abrasion, wind, and moisture and the DWR adds more waterproofing
Satin lining feels silky-soft against your skin allows enhanced mobility as the fabric slides easily over underlayers
Jacket-to-pant interface on the powder skirt seals out the deep white stuff and keeps your jacket from riding up
Hood and powder skirt are removable, so you can rock this over a t-shirt when the warmer days creep in
Waist tabs cinch to enhance the slim, fitted look
Bottom Line: Super-hot looks come with the warmth.
Jacket looks and feels great. It isn't that puffy so if you're afraid of a billow-y frumpy looking jacket, don't worry with this jacket. it's got the double zipper, so I was able to unzip the bottom portion slightly so that the jacket would sit more comfortably around my hips when I sat on the lifts (jacket is on the longer side---which i like! no more snow down my pants!)
my only complaint is that the sleeves don't have elastic cuffs or any gators, instead it hasnt a snap button strap to tighten around your wrists, but they're hard to button with your gloves on. minor complaint---the jacket still rocks and im really happy with it.
(oh, and for those of you wondering about the warmth level, it's warm but on arctic icy frozen-nose-hair days, you'll have to layer under the jacket, for sure.)

Wear the jacket you normally wear, layering doesn't mean you need to bulk up. First layer has come a long way. Wearing one base layer will go a really long way, that is all you need. Thick for colder days and light for warmer days. check them out here: http://www.dogfunk.com/burton-expedition-1-4-zip-top-womens and here: http://www.dogfunk.com/burton-lightweight-crew-womens
I really love the cut on this jacket. It is nice to have a insulated warm jacket that dose not make you look like a puff ball. I also like the front two utility pockets. It is really nice to have a place to put your car keys, phone, etc. This jacket looks great in the plaid colorway, as well as, the solid colorways.
Yeah, this jacket is warm and toasty... However, the front pockets are way too large and very obtrusive to the aggressive rider. Aesthetically, they're not to scale with the rest of the otherwise adorable and functional jacket. Bummer, I love the other design details from the inside print to the cinched hood, but I just cant hang with those awful pockets getting in my way!
"Puffy" is kind of a misnomer since this jacket is actually very slim, very form-fitting and curve-accentuating. It seems quite warm for such a low-profile jacket, although I haven't tested it on the mountain yet. The only complaint I might have is that the hood is not very adjustable, unlike the hood on my other Burton jacket. OK, post-ride update -- was out on a not-too-cold day with lots of wet snow coming down -- worked like a dream.
Its not really puffy per say, but its so warm! Went boarding with it the other day, and it kept me nice n' toasty the whole time. The fit is pretty true to size, so if you want more of a baggy fit, you should get a size larger.
I haven't taken this baby up on the slopes yet,but I've been wearing outside when its snowing, and it keeps me soooo sooo warm. It's a good fit too. It keeps true to size. I'm usually a medium so i got a 7. It fits great not too tight not too baggy. The hood is great too, you can probably fit a helmet under it so that's a plus. Overall great jacket. Cute styles too.
