Burton TWC Standard Snowboard - Mid-Wide - 2010

Get off the groomers and into the park with the Burton TWC Standard Mid-Wide Snowboard. You’ll be spinning, jibbing, and sliding sick rails with ease in no time with the help of the EZ V Rocker design, which combines a catch-free reverse-camber base with a soft flex and a slightly tapered shape for more float and all-around fun.

  • Negative Core Profile thins out the core between the bindings for extra flex and foot control
  • Grip and Rip edge tune means the TWC Standard arrives on your doorstep ready to carve up the mountain
  • A 28-degree profile on the Slantwall sidewall creates a classic, consistent edge-hold that cuts like a knife
  • Comes with the Go Snowboarding package, which includes a free Learn to Ride lesson and lift ticket to selected resorts

Bottom Line: Go where the action is.

The 150 is a better fit, the 154 will be a bit too big.

TWC Standard

By:
September 29, 2010

The TWC Standard is a board that takes the time tested shape of the Custom and puts a slight tapered direction on it. This board might not make everyone double cork 20 feet out, but the EZ V continuous rocker will keep you up in the deep stuff. With a great all around ride and feel it makes for a board that you can take out on the sunny park days, or the white-out power days, and everything in between.

Yes It is a mid-wide. The mid-wide is legit, it is a better ride in deeper snow.

Yes, You'll be ok with the Mid wide, especially if you duck your feet out a bit. Your feet will fit just fine.

Yes, Run a wide for sure. You boots are huge and you need a wide board. I would also recommend you get some boots that have shrinkage technology. like http://www.dogfunk.com/burton-grail-snowboard-boot-mens

No you will need a normal wide board not a mid-wide because you will have a lot of over hang.... hoped that helped
