Burton Jeans Gore-Tex Jean Pant - Men's - 2012

A sublimated denim print meets full-on mountain-worthy features in the Burton Jeans Gore-Tex Jean Pant. As seen on magazines, videos, and yes, even TV, the Gore-Tex Jean Pant is a favorite among Burton's pro-shred squad for its good looks and superior waterproofing.

  • Gore-Tex 2-layer fabric gives this denim stunner guaranteed waterproof and breathability, even in harshest of weather
  • Fully taped seams completely seal out moisture from infiltrating your comfort along all stitching points
  • Sublimated denim print looks like your favorite pair of distressed denim but performs like a boss
  • Satin lining brings you the same silky swagger feel of your pimp robe at home
  • Mid Fit is Burton's just-right fit: tapered where you want it, roomy where you need it
  • Inner thigh zip vents lets you air things out
  • Inner gaiters keep the snow out of your boots
  • Set and Forget ghetto slits stay put when you bang out that Squampton style over boots
  • Anti-Scuff cuffs feature a higher-density material to keep your cuffs from getting merked in the parking lot

Bottom Line: How did they get all of that in those jeans?

Excellent quality, fit, and style

Don't believe the negative reviews about this product. Went out several days with these on. Never got wet. Style is like real jeans and you have to be unusually close to this product (within 18 inches) to realize that they're not real jeans. The Gore-Tex, although 2 layers, seems thick and durable. I've had no problems whatsoever. As far as sizing, I wear a 32-33, 5'10" 185 pounds with an athletic build. Medium fit perfectly. Keep in mind there is Velcro on the inner waist liner to assure a good fit.

Bakershredder-

I am going to have to say a large for length, however the waist is going to be a bit big. I think with your height the medium would fit your waist but not your length. I would suggest looking at the Burton Cargo pant in tall.

These look great and are even more comfortable. Thermals underneath should be sufficient for all but the coldest days. Maybe an extra layer then.

I already ordered & received these in an XL for my husband

I already ordered & received these in an XL for my husband as a Christmas gift...they are so cool! I ordered the XL because of the inseam. My husband has a 34" inseam, but his waist is more of a 34-35. The XL looks huge in the waist/butt! Does this pant come in a Large Tall? And if not would you suggest that I order the large as a back-up? Thnx.

Hi, unfortunately Burton doesn't offer the Jeans pant in tall sizes. I would suggest picking up the large for your hubs and letting him decide which size to keep on xmas day, because we could be sold out by then.

If you choose to get a "tall" pant the selection is limited but we stock both of them:

686 Smarty Original Cargo Tall

Burton Cargo Tall

Hope that helps.

burton the jeans

although they are cool looking pants and they are gore-tex, i would not recommend purchasing them. the material is very cheaply made and rips easily. i purchased these pants, tried them and the ripped on the very 1st day out. mind you i was not even in the park or riding aggressivly that, so save your money and stay away from the cheap pants.

People stop me everytime I ride in these. They look better than your favorite pair of jeans and keep you warm and dry with only a base layer under em. I'm 6' 240lbs (gym rat) and XL fits perfect, just a little swaggy baggy. Great quality. Don't listen to the haters. These are sick.

watch people stare in disbelief

People can't believe you're out in the snow wearing what they think are ordinary jeans! These pants fit great, they're waterproof, the material seems pretty strong (not enough snow for me to get in the trees yet) They're not insulated, but my legs never got cold, even down to 0 degrees F (worn with long johns). My only gripe is with the front pockets(difficult to zip and unzip) and the back pockets (pretty useless) But these issues are form before function fashion compromises
