Burton Wheelie Board Case - 09/10 - 2009

Load up the Burton Wheelie Board Case before you take off to Whistler, Mt. Hood, or the Bird this winter. This fully-padded bag protects both your jib stick and powder plank while they travel the gauntlet from check-in to baggage claim, and the removable boot and binding bags keep your gear more organized than your grandma’s kitchen.

  • Front pocket stashes gogs, hats, gloves, etc.
  • IXIOM skate wheels glide easily under a heavy load

Bottom Line: Follow the powder.

This bag is perfect for storing everything snow you have. Really, it can hold 5 boards easy. So your board and skies are no problem. Dogfunk does not ship to canada I don't think. Check out the shipping requirements to make sure though. If they don't have a friend that lives here buy it then ship it to you. Really good bag, worth the trouble to get it.

Big and heavy duty

This thing is huge! It easily holds my outwear, boots, board and bindings.

I was afraid it wold be to long for my car so I ordered the 156 for my 157 board (a dealer told me the 156 would fit a 159 board hassle free). Not a clever choice. The description is pretty true to size so the 156 only barely fits a 157 board. If you have a 156+ board I'd go for the 166 one, the middle part of the bag is flexible so the added length won't be a problem.

There is much tech going on with this bag, maybe to much. I can't figure out what pocket goes where and how to orgenize it all. I think the thing carries 2 decks and 1 full setup with scratch padding thing in between it all. I however just ended cramming it all in there.

The attachable bags work ok but wont snap into place if you have a wide stance on your board.

The skate wheels are awesome and the whole thing rolls really well. Construction is durable and the whole thing is covered in waterproof stuff so you wont soak up your car.

Bottom line: Sweet bag with much room. Can seam a little confusing with all the pockets and whatnot. True to size, bigger is better.

Would the 156cm bag hold a 157cm board, if so would it be a tight

Would the 156cm bag hold a 157cm board, if so would it be a tight fit. And is it better for the board to be closer in size to the bag, to provide proper support when wheeling around the bag.

If you only have a 157 and don't want to bring any bigger sizes along with you, then yes it will fit no problem. But know that by stretching the bag to fit your board, cuts down on the protection properties of the bag. The next size is a 166, lot of room for all your boards and products.

Burton Wheelie Board Case 09/10

Great bag,

Exactly what i was looking for! It can fit my girlfriends and my gear. 2 Boards, 2 Pairs of boots, 2 Pairs of bindings, 2 helmets, and at a squeeze jacket and pants.
I have size 15US boots and to my surprise even they fit in the internal bags included for your boots!

Not that it is a real problem for me, but be aware that the board does not have a solid floor all the way through, to save weight.
The idea being your snowboard will act as the solid base, allowing the bag to hold its shape and be easily wheeled around. If you have gear in it but with no board it would be difficult to wheel around, as it becomes like a bannana.

Other than that great bag and is exactly what i was expecting!

I have a 152 board, should i get the 166? or is the 156 going

I have a 152 board, should i get the 166? or is the 156 going to be enough room?

If you only ride boards around the 152 then the 156 is no problem. If you plan on buying a straight powder board or a bigger board ever then you could opt for the 166. The 156 is pretty big, it has a double compartment. The board go on the bottom and everything else (binding, outerwear, boots, ect) go up top.

Perfect for traveling from place to place. The skate wheel set up is the best. It never fails and if it does then hit up your local shop for a new one and your on your way. This bag never fails to amaze me in its ability to hold everything I need it to. You will be amazed as well. This bag is a must have for traveling.

in browsing through the color/pattern choices, the black gridline

in browsing through the color/pattern choices, the black gridline print seems to have a retractable handle, while the others do not. anyone know if this handle (just like the retractable handle on most wheeled carry-on luggage) is really on all the wheelie board cases? or is this actually a picture of the wheelie locker?

That is a picture is of the wheelie locker. Is is the bag that is a step above the wheelie board case. Both bags are great, but if you do travel a lot and take a quiver of decks with you, then up-grade to the wheelie locker.

I bought this bag for me and my husband, and we were able to fit a lot for our snowboard trip. It's a big bag, but very easy to travel with. I would recommend it to anyone.
