With the capacity to carry two planks (sans bindings) and fully-padded protection, the Burton Wheelie Gig Bag keeps your quiver protected while you follow the pow. The burly 600D polyester fabric won’t tear to shreds when it travels the harrowing journey from check-in to baggage claim, and the outer boot/binding pocket organizes your shred gear.
There is a lot of room in this bag. If you only have a 54 then get the 156 bag. If you think you will size up in the future then get the 166cm bag. More space is better than less space.
One of the best board bag out there, if you're planning on traveling then be sure to get a bag with wheels because it makes traveling so much easier. There is plenty of room in the bag so the only thing you really have to look out for is putting too much stuff in it that it goes overweight.
Dogfunk.com knows that no one wants the used-car-salesman experience, so we decided to show you the other guys prices in an effort to keep your shopping experience as informed as possible. We do our best to confirm this information is correct, but assume no responsibility for the accuracy of the price and shipping information provided by other vendors.
How much do you want to pack? The 156 is plenty big for two boards two sets of bindings and probably two pairs of boots(depending on the sizes). Go with the 166 if you would like to pack more than that.
Just got the 166 bag for my 158 board. This bag fit my board with bindings attached, boots, two helmets and some clothes on my last trip. It´s pretty solid. I recommend.
how wide does the 181 cm bag is? not only i need it for my boards for winter, but also for other times, I want to use it for my chinese music instrument. Thanks.
i got this bag last season. love it. great for airport travel especially with the wheels, dont know what i would have done without them. its a 156 fit my 152 board with bindings attached boots 2 jackets 2 pants gloves sock and a towel (as added padding just incase coz i dont trust airports), wasnt too tightly packet and i could have put a bit more in. this year in trying all that and a nother snowboard in there as well.
I bought the Tokyo Lights long wheelie bag, and filled it up with 2 snowboards, 1pair of boots,1helmet, and miscellaneous clothing. The wheels are great, and the black with colors is a fun design that hides dirt. I am completely happy with this bag. It has a shoulder strap, and an outside pocket. The price and service from Dogfunk is exceptional. I look forward to doing business with them again!
Get the larger bag, if for no other reason than you can cram some of your softgoods & maybe your boots in there, too. I ride a 163 in a 165 dakine bag, and I wish I had more room for the rest of my gear.
Just got the 156 bag for my 151 board. This bag is AWESOME! Will fit board with bindings attached, boots, goggles and snow gear (tucked tightly). Construction seems pretty solid. Definitely will recommend.
The exact weight is 7.65 pounds for a 156cm. I use the wheelie gig on a consistent basis (board bag of choice) because of a few reasons:
1. Light with good padding to protect my goods!
2. Ixion Wheel System -- Super solid and if you bust one SKATE WHEEL Burton replaces by sending you a new one... don't have to send the whole bag back. (although mine is 3 years old and I have never busted anything on it) -- plus they roll smooth like butta!
3. Can carry multiple boards -- I might need my quiver on the road. It may dump some POW.
4. 600D polyester construction! DURABLE!!!
5. I can fit all my boots, helmet, goggles, and outerwear in one simple bag... Easy livin'!
ALL and ALL, I love my Burton Board bag.
Compared to the Low-roller... they have about the equivalent padding and are within a pound of each other on weight.
hey thinking of a getting a whole selection of gear from you guys including clothes and stuff! our question is that we live in australia and just wondering where u guys r located???
Its simple, put 2 of the bags in your cart and enter your shipping country and zip code. It will then tell you your shipping options and how much each will cost.
