Do you think the 181cm wheelie locker will fit a pair of 174cm K2 apache recons in it as well as poles and other gear?

It sure will. This bag is the best. It has an upper and lower storage section. Put your hardgoods on the bottom and softgoods on the top. You can not go wrong with this bag at all. It also has the best wheel construction, skate wheels and real bearings. Easy to replace if you ever need to, even though I have yet to replace my wheels.
I think you can fit a dead body in there!

Wow. I ordered the bag for a trip to Chile in a few weeks and just received it. I didn't get a full appreciation for it until I placed my snowboard and boots in there. The bag really expands upwards and looks like it will fit all my gear so I hope I don't over pack and go over the weight limit. There are pockets everywhere. I'll let you know how it goes when I return.

Beautiful Board Case/Bag!!!

Absolutely awesome and perfect! Be ready - it's huge and a bit heavier (but much higher quality than the wheelie case) so should you fly to where you shred you may get hassled by your airline about this...as I have been with an older, smaller Burton wheelie bag with 3 boards, 2 bindings, and child's skis and I got the 3rd degree for weight (for what is usually an extra freebie for such an item). I will dare and try with this bag!!!Thought to go with all black, but this is less bring without being 'tacky'.

Could this fit my board, helmet, bindings, goggles, boots and boarding jacket and pants as well as some other clothes? I pretty much want to know if I can use it as my only luggage bag for my one week boarding trip o'seas.

It all depends how much you pack for a week. It will fit all your hardgoods and outerwear no problem. I'm willing to bet you could pack for a week. You most likely will have to get creative in your packing system, but it should fit. The bag is pretty big. You can do it.

The best board bag you can get. Three separate bag to compartmentalize everything you carry with you. There is no need to worry about your boots getting your threads dirty, put them in the boot bag. Your bindings don't have to scratch you other board any more either, they have their own bag. Really this is the best bag for all your gear. The other awesome feature is the telescoping handle, this is great for traveling. Get it and be stoked!!

I really liked the locker a lot. There is plenty of room to put everything I could think of in there. One draw back is the locker is meant to have your bindings off the board when you have it in the bag. I am not always traveling on a plane, and some times just want to carry the bag with my board in the trunk of my car. In this situation I really don't like having to take off the bindings to make everything fit correctly. Overall I like the bag a lot.

Hi Anna,
With no bindings you can fit roughly 15 boards.

I might only add that it's worth to remove bindings to make the boards (in their multiples in this case) and gear fit better - but perhaps I'm stating the obvious?...

Would a 156 bag fit a burton Custom X 156 ?

Yes, but you'd be wise to buy a larger bag to pack more gear. I got a 166 for my 156 Custom X, and can load it in the bag with my bindings, boot, helmet, waxing gear, and a bunch of other stuff.
No more lifetime Guarantee?

So This is a very good bag and the quality of the build is high, and after travelling internationally with it, seems like it will hole up like the old Burton gear.
Now, correct me if i'm wrong, and i don't think that i am, but didn't all burton textiles, clothing, bags used to carry lifetimes manufacturer guarantees. I had two normal board cases and two pairs of pants from back in the day which have now been lost to the wind, but i believed that they were garaunteed for life by Burton, what's with all the downsizing? Uh oh, hope the suits are rolling in and destroying the hard work that Jake established years ago...
Back to the bag, it's great, holds two of my boards with bindings, and two additional without, all of my avy gear, shell, gloves, boots, and extra stuff i need on the mountain and in the village, and along with my laptop and another small carry on, this is my only check-in. Massive volume, and blow out proof neoprene safety zones adjacent to the zippers. Good bag, easy to carry, hope it lasts more than a year.....
