Im about 5.8 and half and 115 pounds and im not sure if a large would be to big were it hangs to my knees or if it would be to loose around the waist and arms because im pretty skinny
The large is going to be pretty big. I don't know if it will hang to your knees but it will be big. If you like your jackets baggy like that then run it.

I was just wondering is 200mg thermacore warm, and if so what temperature could i withstand (still being warm) with out any layers on
200mg is warm for sure. Your question is kind of relative to the person. Myself, I'm always cold so I can run a puffy in 40 degree weather, some people I know only run puffy jackets in the teens and below. It is warm, I would get it, you'll be fine.

The measurement for chest is 33.5....should i buy Size Small ?
Yes you should, Unless you have long arms. I'm 6' even, so I wear a large to fit my arms.
it is definitely poofy but very comfortable. hood likes to come up over your head a lot. plenty of nice pockets, mp3 player Velcro pocket, and an id/credit card holder easy access. Was too warm for spring ski in AZ. Could use wrist gaiters but has velcro straps to tighten sleeves.

Im 6 foot 1 inch high and weigh 163 pounds. Im riding skiis, not snowboard, so im not that guy who wears a looong jacket to his knees. What size would fit me? Im looking for a warm jacket that doesnt need a whole lot of more clothes underneath. Any recommended pants to this jacket?
This will be a great ski jacket for what you're looking for it is going to a bigger fit, but as long as you don't go for the xl you should be fine. Just go off the size chart.
It is insulated so you wont have to wear much under it.
As for pants, here is a good option:

Yo yo yo, I want to ski/snowboard but I'm new :(
What does thermacore mean? I live near the Rockies so I don't want to buy something that will not keep me warm.
Dawg.... Thermacore is Burton's synthetic insulation material. Its not as puffy as most down jackets and it still works when its wet! This jacket should keep you nice 'n toasty, especially when you start to pack on the layers.. i mean layerzzzzzzzz
Nice jacket but poor fit
Although its a real beauty and I was really looking forward to wearing it - this jacket is so puffy, it made me look like I was pregnant. I had to send it back.
