Pretty Sweet Gear

This pack is pretty sweet, I got it in the mail today and instantly made sure that it had all that I wanted. I needed a decent size camera block (had it), a laptop sleeve (sort of had it, goes in the front inside the board holder) and pockets for stuff when I go out on the slopes or hike (got that too). The camera block is good sized, fits my D3000, 55-200mm with a hood, 18-15mm, and 35mm lens, and there are two or three more areas to put accessories (flashes, spare batteries, etc.). I didn't like the fact that my 15" MacBook sticks out of the "laptop sleeve," but it fit so tight that getting it stolen in an airport is virtually impossible. Overall pretty sweet, I can't wait to travel with this and to take it out to the mountains.

Write your comment here...Thanks for talking about the laptop issue. I have a 17" so I almost made a big mistake

So Jeff, would you say that it's not a good match if you want to stick a Macbook Pro 15" in there, or is it just a little tight? I'm looking at the same setup (Burton Focus pack, and I just bought the 15" MBP).

Did you decide to keep the pack, or go with another camera/hiking backpack?

I agree, I appreciate that you mentioned the 15" pocket. Thank You.
