Often, when developing technology, we humans draw inspiration from the beasts of the earth in order to gain efficiency. The Capita Women's Birds of a Feather Snowboard looks to the owl to keep it soaring high as well as swift and silent on the ground. In place of shifting feathers that stabilize and provide silent but effective swooping, the Birds' Snowboard utilizes Hybrid FK profile, a blend of camber, rocker, and flat zones strategically positioned to keep to preying on park features and snatching up powder.
- Hybrid FK profile places the power of positive camber between the inserts, the stability of zero-camber under the feet, and a slight reverse section that transitions into the Wah-Pow!
- Wah-Pow! Flat-Kick technology features a unique geometry that maintains contact at the shoulders of the board to give you more leverage when pressed and through turns
- Two carbon KEVLAR® beams run the length of the effective edge to deliver full-length response and reinforced construction
- Form 6-K fiberglass laminate wraps the core with 612g/m2 biaxial fiberglass intersecting at 90-degree angles to equal a flex that turns easily and can hold down a press
- SS Select core delivers all-terrain flex and response with a directional flex pattern and plenty of pop and an even flex carried out through vertically laminated, long-grain poplar
- PLT topsheet technology adheres without harsh and heavy lacquer while presenting the graphics with vibrant, rich colors
- High Molecular Composition (HMC) extruded base exceeds the standards of other extruded bases with a formula that's fast, incredibly durable, and low-maintenance

Board is amazing. Indeed as if flying. In the powder does not sink. BUT! letters on the sliding surface began to limp, the seams are felt when riding. And it's in one season! Where to go? I think the change in the Stairmaster extreme

If you still like regular camber than this board is for you! Its has regular camber between the feet, and goes to flat outside of the your feet. Its a great all-around board. It holds turns like no other, and floats awesome in the powder! It also is very stable and responsive, and has tons of pop!

I demoed this board. It would definitely be my top choice board if I didn't just buy a Never Summer.
This board holds turns amazingly and floats over choppy areas without much effort. It also has tons of pop. I was surprised that it was camber between the feet because rides like a flat board.
the graphics look even better in person. it's probably the most gorgeous board i've seen in years.
