Built to handle the deepest days imaginable, the Capita Charlie Slasher Snowboard is a legendary pow-stick capable of planing over bottomless snow with minimal effort. Just like earlier versions of the Charlie, it's designed with a tapered directional shape to keep the nose afloat when you're headed to the white room. The one-inch setback and nose that's 20-millimeters wider than the tail maintains a buoyant feel that's almost impossible to sink, no matter how deep it gets.
Further contributing to Charlie Slasher's highly capable pow skills, its Pow FK profile places substantial rocker just after the front binding, continuing to the board's Flat Kick nose. This massively rockered nose works with its tapered directional shape, making every pow turn a blissful experience that's noticeably free of back foot burn. You'll find flat camber from the front binding continuing back to the tail of the board. Flat camber provides stability for turning, especially when you're lapping chopped-up snow and groomers once the pow's all tracked up. Flat camber in the tail also helps you stomp huge landings off cliffs and natural features without going 'over the bars' or washing out.
Add in a split-ready Touring core with a double-wide ABS strip right down the centerline for a deck that's ready to be transformed into a backcountry touring machine without sacrificing the integrity of the full poplar core inside. Plus, you'll find the 2 X Carbon Fiber Beams highly useful in reducing high-speed chatter in the nose, especially when you're straight-lining chutes and popping pillows at high speeds. Furthermore, the board's Wax Infused Rotation Sintered Speed base absorbs a ton of wax, allowing you to haul across flats and bomb steeps without bogging down on deep days.

This is one of the most fun boards to rip powder in, period. The graphics are always killer, it floats effortlessly in powder, and its the perfect board to split. The ABS in the middle make it the easiest board to setup as a splitboard since there isn't a need to seal the core. The directional flat shape with a reverse nose leaves a lot of edge to snow contact for laying over carves or sidestepping up the hill. If you ride powder this board should definitely be in your arsenal of boards
