Capita DBX - Dan Brisse Experience Snowboard
Dan Brisse has more than made a name for himself. This hard-charging, blue-collar, rail-killing, urban-gap shooting, backcountry-booter-blasting super-shred has come a long way from his humble origins in Richmond, Minnesota. So it's natural that Capita asked him to design his first pro model, the DBX (Dan Brisse Experience) Snowboard. The DBX uses Capita's Freeride FK camber profile, reactive Bamboo Dual Core, and PLT Topsheet to do everything Dan loves to do, whether it's throwing down in the streets, freeriding in Brighton's backcountry, or hitting oversized jumps. The bold but easy-on-the-eye graphics stand out on an overcast day with a design that could only come from one of Dan's other sponsors, Volcom Stone.
- Freeride FK camber profile is primarily all positive camber with rocker zones just outside the bindings where it transitions into the abrupt angle of Wah-Pow! Flat-Kick shaping on the nose and tail
- Wah-Pow! Flat-Kick technology features a unique geometry that maintains contact at the shoulders of the board to give you more leverage when pressed and through turns
- Basalt V-Tech reinforcements bolster the core and channel underfoot energy to the edges via two 20mm strands iof eco-friendly basalt that run along the inserts under the core and angle out toward the contact points
- Bomb-Proof bonding component keeps all the right ingredients locked tight by creating a seamless bond between the base, core, V-Tech, fiberglass laminate, and sidewalls
- Custom-weave biaxial fiberglass over the core delivers a forgiving freestyle flex for pressing and buttering
- Under the core, Custom-Weave triaxial fiberglass delivers hard-charging snap into your turns by blending resin and glass to increase strength without weight; this formation allows for the board's core to be thinner in certain areas for reduced swing weight
- PLT topsheet technology adheres without harsh and heavy lacquer while presenting the graphics with vibrant, rich colors
- All-new RFC Sustainable Bamboo Dual Core brings together full-length poplar with strategically placed bamboo stringers through the inserts and along the edges for increased strength without stiffness
- Wax-infused rotation-sintered base resists impact from rails and natural features while holding speed on flats
Bottom Line: Get experienced.
Leave your mark on The Wall.
