Description

Destroy every feature in sight (and the emotional well-being of gapers).

Don't let the name or the graphics of the Capita Indoor Survival FK Snowboard confuse you. The chaotic collage actually comes together in perfect artistic harmony; just like your riding. Also the Indoor Survival FK is meant to be ridden outside, but it's obvious that your shredding takes place outside (on snow and steel). So do it! Strap in, slide toward the biggest kicker in the park, and huck yourself in a massive rotation of spiritual bliss before a catastrophic explosion of rage against fat skiers ensues.
  • Freestyle Flat Kick reverse camber technology provides a smooth, catch-free ride and float in pow
  • Reforestation-certified wood core provides pop and even flex while reducing the impact on natural animal and plant habitats
  • Four carbon-KEVLAR® rods run vertically along the reverse cambered region for added rebound and pop
  • Wax-infused sintered base material keeps you sliding longer and faster with less effort
  • Form 6 fiberglass layer retains lateral pop (from tip to tail) but allows free-flowing torsional flex for quick turning

Would this work well with Union Contacts?...

Posted on

Would this work well with Union Contacts? I was thinking of getting this board, it seems really sweet, but Im just thinking it might be a little too stiff to handle with the Contacts which are a pretty soft binding. What do you think?

Responded on

I'm using Contacts on the Horrorscope and that combination is pretty soft. I think the Indoor with Contacts would be a better balance of stiff with a touch of soft to hit the park.

Awesome Board

Capita has done it again. For years the Indoor Survival has been one of the best out of the Capita line up and 2011 is no different. I had never bought a high end board before (i've been riding a Dick's Sporting goods one for about 4 years) and when I asked around the Indoor Survival came up a lot in discussion. I was a bit hesitant about putting $400 into a company I had never ridden before. But I would gladly pay it again. This board does everything i want and more. I can take hot laps in the park, bomb hills, or hit the big jumps and it preforms like a dream. It never gets chattery at high speeds or washes out on landings. The one thing that through me for a loop was adjusting to rocker instead of camber, but that only took a couple runs. For anyone looking for a great all around board, look no further.

i where a size 11 boot have alwars ridden wide boards but really wanna ride this board. Will the board be wide enough for me?

Responded on

I feel ur pain bro lol. Cause I have size 12er's ive always had to ride a wide board. But for this year it seems as if companies are allowing ue bigger footed riders to be put on a mid/wide board, rather than just being subjected to a 'wide' board. This board on the other hand will not accomodate ur feet. You wanna look for a board with a waist width of atlease 252. 4mm doesnt seem like much, but its the difference of toe drag and no toe drag. This deck only has a waist width of 248 on the 154. If the deck was a 250 on the 154, then no problem as you could size up a bit to get that little bit extra. But this deck will e a super tight squeeze if you decide to get it, but I would tell you not to. Hope this helps

Inshredible

I love the Indoor Survival fk! It's a sick true twin great for sk8ing the hole mtn & anything it has to offer. It butters & presses super easy w/ the Flat kick.
I ride this board everywhere from park, trees, groomers & sometimes I even take it on the sleds.
