Capita NAS Snowboard
The Capita Normal Ass Snowboard keeps you pointed in the right direction with the idea that technology and design should open up areas of the mountain for you to ride, not close them off. In short, the best ideal is often the simplest; turns out this approach has not only appealed to riders looking to do it all, but has also helped to stack some Good Wood awards from Transworld Snowboarding Magazine.
- Traditional camber from tip to tail keeps you popping, locking, and dropping whatever terrain and features you please thanks to a handsome arch of continuous power
- Form 6-K fiberglass laminate wraps the core with 612g/m2 biaxial fiberglass intersecting at 90-degree angles to equal a flex that turns easily and can hold down a press
- PLT topsheet adheres without harsh and heavy lacquer while presenting graphics with rich, vibrant colors
- SS Select core delivers all-terrain flex and response with an even directional flex pattern and plenty of pop thanks to vertically laminated, long-grain poplar
- HMC (High Molecular Composition) extruded base works hard, takes some hits, and is easy to take care of throughout the season
- Progressive sidecut blends two arcs for initiating a turn at the nose, holding it though the arc, and powering you into the next turn in the tail
Bottom Line: No gimmicks, just awesome.

Why It's Awesome: With so many different camber theories in the market today, it can get confusing trying to find the right one. We have talked to many riders around the world who, rightfully so, just want what they know and love. They want the shape they learned to ride on and eventually learned to rip on. A board that's powerful, stable, predictable, and flat-out charges. We launched the Normal Ass Snowboard last year, and so many people were feeling the stripped-down graphics and traditional design package that we are back for 2012 with seven sizes including three wide models. Comfortable and stable out of the box while still quick edge-to-edge, these boards can handle anything the mountain can dish out. And, with a price tag hundreds of dollars less than its Good Wood peers, these boards are undeniably the best high performance product for the price, industry-wide.
