Capita Stairmaster Extreme Snowboard - 2009

Some days we can’t tell the difference between the snowboarding industry and the world of paparazzi ridden, soulless celebrities. Just when we could barely stand it anymore, Capita mystics decided to release the Stairmaster Extreme Snowboard into the world. We cried our eyes out, thinking that everything had come to an end, before we realized this park dominating snowboard was the answer to our problems. Picture a Stairmaster with sharper teeth, bigger muscles, and psychic powers.

  • DS Select Core is a lightweight beech and poplar wood magic talisman that gives you scary control, damp ride, and consistent flex powers
  • Custom Weave-E Class fiberglass configuration gives you a lighter board with high energy and tasty, Park Perfect flex
  • Wax Infused Sintered WTR base hands you the keys to unearthly speed for years to come
  • Die Cut Sidewalls have end of the world surviving durability and are enhanced with a 1.5mm dampening system to give you luxury car feel

Bottom Line: As long as Capita is around, snowboarding will keep its soul.

i am around about 70kg and am 167cm tall, i have been riding a rome artifact 153cm for 3years now and am looking for a new board. i mainly stick to the park and am beginning to fall in love with hitting the big kickers. Would this be a good board for me?

Totally. I have a capita stairmaster and a scaremaster and love them both, I ride 70% jibs and rails and 30% kickers (generally 30 ft and under) (capita makes some sick boards!!!). I think you'll like the extreme. Its a little on the stiffer side (mid flex) so it will excel on those monster kickers and not be as great on rails but still real good. Grab one and rip it!

It's got the smooth loveable ride ability of the Stairmaster, but every piece of the puzzel received an upgrade. What's that mean to you? More bang for the buck. DS Select core is poppier, Sintered base is faster, the glass weave gives you more power out of turns and the edge dampening system keeps you from blowing out edges when you getting your thing on with them park boxes. Fact is that shop kids loved our Stairmaster but wanted a little something something added to it, so that's what you get with the EXTREME.

It suppose to be just a bit stiffer than the original Stairmaster, so it will be a better jump board, but still have the feeling of a nice soft stairmaster when you press those rails and boxes.
