Capita Stairmaster Snowboard - 2009

The kinked out rail that owned you last winter might as well be a mythical beast and everyone knows you need a special weapon to conquer those. Lo! Capita shamans have brought you the Stairmaster Snowboard to slay magical enemies. The Stairmaster was awarded Transworld’s Under $400 Good Wood award in 09 for good reason. This buttery twintip will assist you in your quest to dominate park features everywhere.

  • WDT Engineered Jib Core is tip-to-tail wood composite which provides buttery flex, a damp ride, and plenty of pop in a lightweight package
  • Form 6 Fiberglass configuration consists of the highest quality biaxial fiberglass placed on the base and top of the board for faster turn initiation and super pop.
  • Extruded Base material is easy to maintain and excels in park environments
  • Capita snowboards are built Bombproof with Old School Reliability

Bottom Line: The Excalibur of freestyle boards.

Well isaac, this board has pretty good flex...for a cambered board. I don't know if you know this, but there is a new style called rockered. In a cambered board, there is a hump in the middle, with rocker, there isn't a hump, now its a valley so to speak. These boards are much more flexier and playful. If you want to have fun, jibbing everything in sight, landing new tricks with ease, and impressing chicks and ur friends, pick up a rockered board. Some good ones are burton hero, k2 www, park pickle/skate banana, and much more. Hope this helped....ps rate killer

For the price the Stairmaster can't be beat... So poppy and fun and for the price this board is simply outstanding. I don't think you can find another board in this price range with as much tech...

Bro, go with the 148 if you like to bomb... 148 is plenty small for jibbing and rails but it will give you a little extra surface space to keep up with your boys that are riding their 153s

Do anything park board

Super easy to ride, even with a hang over this thing is fun as hell. Lots of pop of jumps and super playful on rails and boxes. It's a jib board but rides everywhere with ease. The new core is 30% more impact resistant than last years deck. Plus a two year warranty keeps thinks cool. Good choice for a affordable deck.

I'm 5'10 and weight around 175-180lbs. I feel like my most recent board (08 Gnu riders choice mtx 157.5) is a bit long/stiff. I want something more park orientated although I ride everything. Is 152 to small? Or should I just go with the 156?

Aaron, I would go with a LIB SKATE BANANA 156. It's a little shorter than your GNU, so it will be more park friendly. It's also a BANANA, so you can ride powder with it- no problem. It's really the best all-around park / pow slayer out there. Have fun!

i think it would be fine i m the same size i ride a 152 stairmaster is built for that might be a lil harder to ride powder but i mean it s still doable for sure

If you have the extra cash get the Never Summer Evo. Rocker/Camber tech blows everything out of the water including any Banana you can find... if you already have your all mountain board and want a stick for straight park size it down and get your spins on... just be sure to dull down your edges for those rails. For your dollar Stairmaster is the way to go
