hey, was just wondering if a medium would fit me? im about 5'4, 160kg and was wanting it to sit just below my butt. would a medium be good? or would i need to go up another size?

I'm 5'9" 185 lbs an althletic build. I need somethin that will fit my shoulders and I want it to hit like mid thigh. I would like a little room to put a thin hoodie under it too. What size should I get? And does the inside liner thing in the pics actually in there?
Hey Tedo, 185 lbs, athletic build and you want it to hit mid thigh. hmmm that's a toughy because you could go either large or XL. This jacket fits on the small side, and my concern is the fit across your shoulders. large could get a little tight, especially with a hoodie underneath. I'm gonna say XL will fit you best. That said, you can always pick up both and return the one you don't want, hassle-free.
and yes, the liner thing is attached. It's not a full liner though - it's just some bits of material behind the zipper.
The Jacket is a slim tailored fit, meant to fit more like a street coat than a snowboarding one. It fits long so if you sit down it makes it a little awkward since its so tight. Your rotation and flexibility is less than other jackets. If you open up the bottom zipper a little bit it makes everything you do a little easier. The jacket is bar far the best looking jacket I've ever had. Cappel defiantly went with style for the key features of this jacket. There is not much room for layering under this though so keep that in mind if you live or ride in really cold climates. You can squeeze maybe a base layer but good luck trying to get a hoodie on under this. I really do like this jacket its really steazy it will be great for wearing around town this winter and I've already got a bunch of compliments but if your buying this for snowboarding just keep in mind the limited movement compared to other jackets. Me personally I was looking for that tailored fit so it worked out great. Im 6'0 175 pounds I bought the Medium and it fits as it should.
I am 5'11 150 and the Large fit so much better than the medium, its barely longer (i dont dress like a thug) but just gives you extra room to move around, try that size if you feel like you might rip the arms or the jacket when you bend your knees.. i felt that way
Sup Dan- this jacket fits on the small side. Anything besides an XL will be too small. If you go large, I bet it will be too small in the arms/pits and too tight across the shoulders. XL will do ya right.
I really loved the fit of this jacket. I'm 5'2 and 115, slim with a larger... lady chest. First off there are no good pictures of this jacket anywhere, no joke I spent hours upon hours upon hours trying to find just one good picture of someone wearing it.
I really enjoy their slimmer modern fit, I can still have my stuff long like I like but I don't have to look like a marshmallow while doing it (which helps because you obviously know what cool is when you buy this jacket). I'm a fan of nuetral colors as well so I had purchased this in the tannish color.
I only give this jacket a 4 though unfourrrtunatly (see what I did there?) My problems with it were that the pocket on my chest on the first day I owned it, tore through which made me sad and there was also a missing button, which also made me sad. I almost got myself to purchase a different jacket but this one was so ill I couldn't pass it up.
Sorry for the rambling I'm a small girl and I got a large fit me great although I love baggy stuff on me dope sh*t, buy this but be worried about pockets and buttons coming off quickly.
I will more than likely purchase cappell next year
I'm 5'11" and 170lbs. I got the medium and I love the way it looks and fits from the chest down. But the arms are a little tight. It works, but if I wanted to put on my own liner or sweater underneath, it wouldn't be comfortable. Maybe only enough room for a thermal and/or long sleeve t-shirt. So far I've worn it twice and it's been about zero degrees outside and breezy. It was obvious this jacket is not meant for that kind of weather, but I wore it anyways. At first I had a t-shirt on underneath and my arms froze quickly. Second time I put on a long sleeve underneath and was much more comfortable.
My last jacket had terrible pockets so I'm thrilled to have a jacket with nice pockets. The hood actually fits too. I have a large head so it's rare a hood fits comfortably. Since the jacket is long, the bottom-up zipper comes in handy. The zipper itself is also high quality. No hangups yet.
I'm very critical and don't like to give anything a 10 of 10, but this jacket is fantastic and gets a well deserved 8.5 so far. It's still brand new, but it looks like it's built solid and will hold up well over time.
One last note. The pictures online make the black wool look like a dark green canvas color. The black wool looks BLACK in person. The pictures are deceiving.
So if I am not mistaken, none of the wool comes out? Has anyone had any problem with the material freezing? My decision hinges on whether or not the wool area around the face freezes if it gets a little wet. I really like this jacket, but I dont like ice on my face. If anyone has it, let me know what you think.
I am 5'7 180 lbs and i got the large. I tried on the medium, and the length was good but it was way tight around the chest/arms. The large length is maybe 2 or 3 inches above my knee. If you are tall and skinny, I'd say large.
I don't know about you but I'm 5'2 120 pounds and I got a Large, it says the zipper length is 30 witch will hit me at mid thigh. But I'm a skier and I like my shit nice and long. It really depends on how you want it to fit you. But this is a slender fitting jacket so if your built or have a belly it could be a lil movement constricting.
Hey Paddy, we'll be getting more of these in stock for the next couple months. I suggest checking back about once a week or so until they're restocked.
