They go inside your boot inbetween your liner and boot. They are for your ankle/calf area. If you want more filler in your boot to hold your ankle properly, this is where you use them. Basically to adjust the feel of your boot around the ankle incase your ankels/calfs are skinnier

These boots are really great. Super skate feeling and perfect for jibbing. The sole is low profile so you have wicked good board feel. Light weight which is rad too. I love these boots cause they look like my favorite skate shoes with snow pants over them. Also the coolest part about them is the grouch colorway is 100% recycled from waste pieces of past years boots. Everyone likes to save the planet a little bit!

Squeaky

Just got these yesterday. There's no snow here yet so I don't know how they ride, but just walking around in them in my living room, they feel comfortable. The lacing system is kinda tedious but my feet feel secure once they're on. Also, since this is only my second pair of boots, I'm wondering if it is common for boots with more flex to squeak when you walk, because these are pretty loud. A non-snowboarding friend suggested baby powder. Any other suggestions? Also my order didn't include any sort of warranty/manual paperwork. Can we fix this? The boots came with these little yellow boomerang-looking cushy things with what feels like the rough side of velcro on the other side. I assume they're for the inside of the boot to help with fitting but I'm not sure. Anybody know what they're for?

The squeekyness will go away as they break in, also when they get wet on the outside from the snow. It does not affect how they perform. The warranty is a one year from date of purchase. If anything happens to them, just hit up the fine folks here and they will get you all set up. You don't need warranty paperwork. The "little yellow boomerand-lookingcushy things" are called J-bars. If you are getting any heal lift, take the liner out and you will see two soft velcro pieces on the inner lacing brace. They can just velcro in right there.

May be too late to be of use but, I typically wear an 8.5 in mens shoes, but I wear a 9 in Celsius boots.

It depends on the make. Celsius fit pretty true to size. I wouldn't go with a 9 maybe a 9.5, but Their return policy is awesome, so if they dont fit you can just send em back.

Got these in purple, size 8. Moving up from some old Forum Constant's in the same size. I got them to get a nice, light park boot, and that they are. Pretty soft, very light, but they don't fit me as snug as I'd like. Happy with the purchase, but I should have tried them on in a shop first.

boots are all about finding ones that are comfortable for you and what you like. What works for me may not work for you so its always best to try them on first. DC and Thirty Two also make good boots if you want other options

Yeah man, this is pretty much Celcius' park specific boot. Good flex but still allows you to go anywhere on the mountain without feeling like you're just gonna wash out on drops or steeps
