I love just straight up leather gloves and so far these seem to do the trick just fine. Super comfortable, and I love the look of the BL model. They seem to be quite warm, even though we haven't had the bone chilling cold this winter up here in Montucky. I also like supporting a core brand instead of one of the biggies. I ride 75-100 days a year so it will be interesting to see how they hold up, but overall, no complaints!

I bought last year's version of these gloves and the palms split in literally 3 uses. Maybe they were the lemons of the batch, and perhaps celtek got their act together between last year and this winter, but I know they'll never get 80 bucks out of me again. I wouldn't be nearly as bitter if they had at least responded to my emails questioning theiry warranty policy. I'd go for another glove if you value your money at all.

Interesting... I have had the same problem with my Celteks, didn't last more than a few days and no response to several emails I sent to them. I will try this mule email address but this is a little ridiculous that I have to randomly come across a comment on dogfunk to find someone at Celtek who might help me.

Dirty Dog- Celtek did up the quality year over year. If you want to believe send a picture of your glove to mule@celtek.com, along with subject line: just say yes and my friends at Celtek will send you a brand new pair of the completely over hauled BJL colorway Aviators. The new gloves have Primaloft insulation, Hipora Waterproof insert and soft goat leather.

The Celtek aviators got brand new leather, waterproofing and insulation year over year. They are nice and buttery. I love them.
