Stitching on the palm = Bad Idea!
Ok. So, I've been riding Celtek for years. The 4 pairs of gloves I've had have been absolutely bombproof, and have totally kept me dry in all conditions. I went with a pair of last year's blunt totally expecting the quality I've come to enjoy from Celtek. Right out of the box, the stiching on the palm was ripped almost a whole inch. Super bummed I can't ride this week because I don't have gloves, but, even more bummed that this company I've spoken highly of for a long time had a major issue with what I'm assuming is a popular glove. I'm hoping it's just this one last. With that being said, Dogfunk/Backcountry was great, and offered to replace with this years blunt at a discount. I decided to wait til I have the dough for the Aviator's. I Really hope the quality is what I originally expected. Running to Walmart for a cheap pair of gloves to get me through this week. I'm also sending Celtek an email. If I had my name behind this product, I would want to know about this and any other situation for sure.
Not happy with these
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
After only 9 uses these gloves looked like they were nine year old. I tried contacting Celtek and they did not respond, so I got hold of the chat line at DogFunk and they arranged to have me return them for an exchange.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Bought these for this season. For the price I expected a lot. NOPE! With in 10 mins of using them for the first time ever this season they had seems split on both palms. BOTH GLOVES DID THE SAME THING!! Terrible build quality. They are not too small either, they comfortably fit my hand without being tight, they just suck build wise. Do not waste your time or money. I was leaving for a weekend at Mt. Bachelor the next day when this happened, don't get stuck on the slopes with freezing and wet hands.
