Mine is warm and fantastic as a neckwarmer. Unfortunately the damn thing just doesn't seem to stay up when I put it up around my face, it constantly slips below my ears and eventually settles around the neck. However at the price, you can't beat it.

Oct 8th 2011 opening day for Wolf Creek Ski Area C.O. What a day! 36" of fresh with changes in conditionals all day. Cold stormy in the morning. Warm wet spring like conditions mid day. Cool icey conditions at the end of the day. I was able to put the Coal M.T.F Gaiter to use in the morning and it was more then enough for the conditions. It fits great and stays in place. Easy to stow in a cargo or goggle pocket when you don't need it. Great buy for the $6 sale price. I am very happy with this purchase and this will be a well used piece of gear in the Wolf Creek cold weather arsenal. Two thumbs up!

i'm very impressed with gaiter. its warm and soft as can be. i've got a pretty big noggin but its got a good range of ways it fits. good buy
