Use the Contour Rotating Flat Surface Mount to attach your Contour helmet cam to your lid ... that is, if you want to give others a peek at your view as you tear down pow-filled chutes, single-track trails, or dive off of 50-story office buildings.

Good adjustable sticky mount

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a good mount for sticking on your helmet or another surface and being able to adjust the camera angle with a simple click, twist, click. Put it on the top of your helmet and film forward, backward, or to either side.

It works

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

pretty versatile mount. I have one on my snow helmets, climbing helmet, a firefighting helmet, and water helmet. All the mounts are stuck on tight and not coming off anytime soon.

Works well

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Mounted to my ski helmet. Held tight.

can this mount on a side of a helmet?

can this mount on a side of a helmet?

Responded on

For others since this is a old question.

Yes this can be mounted just about anywhere, even with some curve on a helmet.
On the side it's up/down and not side to side, which could be easier to mount to get the perfect angle.

These work ok if you have a very flat surface to mount them to. You can buy extra adhesive pads so if you want to move them or share it you can. The surface must be clean and little to no curves or it will not adhere to it.
