Good workaround for end of season
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This wax is oily so you can feel a bit out of control in the first run after waxing. Runs 2-4 feel better; board slides quite nicely. But after run 5 starts to wear off. I had to apply again for the second half of the day (after lunch).
This is an end of season work around. There is nothing like getting a full tune up at the beginning of the season, which will last 8-10 ski/snowboard days.
If you're looking for a long lasting and effective wax, look elsewhere. If you're just interested in a wax "tuneup" in the morning before heading to the hill, this may just be the ticket.
I make sure to keep a dish of this paste wax in my boot bag for those "just in case" moments in the parking lot and to make due in between ironed waxings. This will not substitute for an actual ironed on wax job tho. For what it's designed for tho (all temperature, quick wax tuneups) it works just fine.
Works good for mid temps
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
works great with mid temps nothing extreme
