works well to make sure no one just grabs you board and takes off with it, but if some one really wanted your board and had leathermans or something like that they could cut the wire might take awhile and im sure someone would notice so over it i think they work well

It fits in your pocket without being in the way. The 3 digit combo is easy to remember and quick to put in so you don't freeze ur hands off trying to unlock your goodies. Pretty good length for a board but is almost not long enough for the skis.
