Dakine Snowboard Bag

By:
February 2, 2013

I love the bad! Great investment I was able to fit my 146 K2 board inside with the bindings on and my boots. I still even have extra space to put my gloves, beanie, and a few hand warmers. The cushion on it is great too, great for travel and storage.

Hey guy's I was wondering..How is the padding on this bag? I would only use this board for trips requiring me to fly. Would my board be safe on a plane in this bag? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Not For Tall Highbacks

By:
February 27, 2010

Small and tight. I had to switch out with my wife's bag because my highbacks wouldn't fit into this bag. Good for smaller boards

The bag is less than a year old and has a small slice of the outer material of the bag is this considered a warranty issue?

if it is a material defect then Dakine will probably take care of it. if it is a slice from an outside influence probably not. check with your local Dakine dealer or see if you can contact dogfunk with some pictures.

Runs small!

By:
December 17, 2009

I have it in Bomber color (green/white almost like camo.. but not that ugly) Super inexpensive bag... got mine for 35bones at a local shop ( <3 The BoardRoom ) It's not really padded for traveling on planes, so wrap a couple of towels around it. It also runs a little small, i have a 155 board, fits perfect in the 157 bag, go even bigger if u want extra room. Other than that its jelly, would buy again.

Hey Chris,

No. The board and bindings would probably fit fine but no extra room. Bags are always larger than the cm size given. A 160-65 bag is what you should be looking for.

Awesome Bag!

By:
January 3, 2013

I bought the Northwest last year for my older son and he loves this bag! His board is a 155 and I bought the 157 bag. It fits his helmet, extra gloves, jacket plus an extra,..literally ALL the gear you need for a full day of riding. He LOVES the boot pockets and has plenty of room. His boots are a size 10. My son says the boot pocket is the best feature of this bag. This year I bought the Spectrum for my younger son and he also loves this bag - much better than the Burton bag he had been using. Both guys like the graphics on the bag, the bag is constructed well and built for durability. We would recommend this bag and would purchase it again. Bag for the price is exceptional.

Sorry that no one answered earlier, but yes this would be a good fit. You are in the right size range. Not to big so that it slides around, and not too small where you cant fit anything but the board in there. That would be a good size and you would be able to fit the boots, board, bindings, and more into it

Perfect for my 152 board

By:
December 13, 2009

This bag is really robust and tough! It has a smart room between the bindings, fine to leave your gloves and goggles in on the run.

Top notch from Dakine, again!

Puts Burton to shame

By:
January 8, 2011

Ever since I lived in Burlington a few years back and witnessed Vermont's obsession with their cheese and cheesy board company, Burton, I have never looked back from not owning anything Burton.

The Dakine gig bag knocks and the stink off a skunk and snuggles my meaty little 162 Arbor like a zesty gas station burrito; cheap, fun, and does the trick!

Really, this product has so much style that, in a pinch, you could wrap your anorexic model-type girlfriend in it and hit the club; she'd look so good flying the new style you just might get a 'lil' after all!

Dakine makes serious goods for serious snow-riders! Buy the friggin bad, and RIDE!

It worked Great!

By:
January 21, 2011

I took advise from some of the reviews and opted to get the bigger sized bag for my 145 board so that I could pack it to fly. I lined the bottom with a large towel for extra padding, and was able to still get the board, bindings, boots, snowboard jacket & pants, goggles, beanies, extra pair of shoes, gloves, all in there. I was very happy and amazed to get everything in there! I plan on using this thing again. Great deal!
