Big storms bring deep snow. Get out there and enjoy it with the protection of the DAKINE Frontier Gloves.

A waterproof breathable Gore-Tex insert helps the DAKINE Frontier Gloves battle nasty mountain weather, so you can take advantage of the amazing pow that dumps during the storm. Thermoloft insulation makes the Frontier Gloves incredibly warm, and a tricot lining provides a soft feel against your skin. DAKINE used a full-length gauntlet with a drawcord closure to keep the snow out of these gloves while you enjoy the waist-deep freshies.

Good glove

Good, warm glove. The Goretex is awesome, so your hands stay dry and warm throughout the session. The only thing keeping this glove from 5 stars is the material on the palms of the gloves. When it gets snow on it, it tends to become a bit slippery. I've had a few T-bars slip out of my hand when they first come around. Other than that, great glove.

Nice but thin

These are good gloves, waterproof and thin, and they would work for most cases. I bought the Black/Black Camo and tried them for night ski, and my hands got cold due to the tight grip, which compressed the thin insulation I guess. When not holding the poles, they were OK.

Good/ Decent glove

I took these gloves out in 20 degree wet show/powdery conditions. My hands stayed warm and dry all day. I had no problem with snow getting inside the glove.

The one problem is with the synthetic palm material. When the material is wet it stays wet and then freezes. So the palm of my glove and tips of the fingers were covered in ice for most of the day. But my hands stayed warm and dry despite the ice.

Warm, dry, tough

This gloves block out the snow and wicks away any sweat that may build up inside. They are plenty warm but allow for movement. Would do well in any conditions.

Excellent Glove

I'm a big guy (6'2", 230#), so i got XL size and they are comfortable. Warm, wick moisture well, and definately water-proof. Excellent contruction compared to most golves I have purchased (this goes for DaKine in general). I wish they had safety straps along with the gauntlets, but they still function perfectly.

When I first got these I did my normal test and dunked them in a tub of water. Held my hand in their for a minute and nothing soaked through. Easy to get on and tighten. Kept me nice and warm even in rain and sleet.

Recommend to anybody

are these for men's or are they unisex?

Unisex, but check the sizing chart before you order. The sizing might be a little different.

nice and warm

Nice looking gloves kept me warm all day. I had no problems with it at all on the slopes. Not as much dexterity as I'd like, (I had some trouble with assisting my son with his jacket zippers).

Great gloves

Great gloves, kept my hands warm in 2 degree weather boarding at Vail. Goretex insert kept hands dry every day. Never had to dry them out, no leakage at all. Elastic cinch does not close as tight as some gloves I have had in the past, but NEVER had a problem with snow in the cuffs over 4 days of powder with plenty of wipeouts to test them on. Would recommend to anyone.
